right thats me all caught up.
Still trying to shake off the cold I picked up in Tesco last weeklots of steam inhalation with a dash of menthol crystals usually twice is enough but I think this is a stubborn one.
For some reason it didn't seem right a doctor phoning in sick, you'd have to be on your last legs.
Kadison good luck with your blood test tomorrow, Spiraling Down I feel so sorry for that poor little baby no Dad to speak of already.
Letters to type, tidying to do & thinking about the stamps on Ocado & maybe a dabble on EBay while its still free listing or just a nap.
Back later enjoy your afternoon everyone0 -
I can't remember who posted it either, but it's a S/World recipe and as you say, just like a chinese curry sauce - so all of you on S/W can make the most of this cheap rice and stay on plan
:j :j[/QUOTE]
i love chippy and chinese curry sauce, will deff be making sum of it. thanks, :TLive for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.
never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.0 -
Got this off a regular on here and very tasty it is and easy to do.
Hope they don't mind me posting the recipe. Mushy pea curry. They did post a pic.
The sauce is made with 2 tins mushy peas, 1 tin baked beans and 1 tin tomatoes, curry spices
(I used curry powder, coriander, cumin, garlic powder and chilli powder) and blitz till smooth.
Then stir fry veg and meat, stock cube and add the sauce, simmer for 20 mins and voila.
Sounds disgusting but tastes like chinese/chippy curry.
Makes a ton of sauce but I freeze it in portions for later
can you remember how much of each of the spices you used. This looks like an ideal way od getting hidden veg into a curry.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -

I am another one who absolutely loves the Twilight Saga. I watched the first film and didn't see what all the fuss was about then a friend recommended the books. I read them all in a week!! I now do see what all the fuss is about. Fudge_Cake, I have to disagree - I'm team Jacob:D

Sorry to hear that celebrate. I wouldn't know why.Did you order stamps only? Maybe they've cottoned on to the fact that Ocado lose out on this one.

Afternoon all,
Finally got to the bottom of the suitcases DD1 brought home, that will teach me to fill the gaps she left when she went to uni. Was such a mammouth task we have not attempted the stationery and toiletry crates yet. She has stashes of her own. :rotfl:Not room for 2 MSEers in the house, didn't think she had got my bug but looking at what she brought home think she has it bad.
We left a pile of Frontcover sets from Boots 75% off there so will have to find a home for them in a few weeks and all her kitchenware, she was so spoilt with the Ts bargains and I have filled the top of the wardrobe where they came from with more recent homeware bargains.
I am totally caught up on here I think, nice to see some new posters, hi to you all.
And a big  to Nikki, missed you popping in but pleased to hear you are feeling better.
Hugs to everyone that needs one, sorry for not naming you all individually, I do feel bad as I like to usually. But as long as you all know I have read everyones posts so I am up to date with everyones' troubles that makes me feel a bit better.
Why did she quit uni?0 -
Oops yes I did sorry if I've brought attention to the glitch , duh!
Might be worth adding that to your thread karlie
