By the way I loved the banter between FK and Miss Laid and purdy and Issyc, you lot certainly know how to make me laugh.
And Fudge_cake :T so pleased to hear that there is an improvement for you.0 -
Got this off a regular on here and very tasty it is and easy to do.
Hope they don't mind me posting the recipe. Mushy pea curry. They did post a pic.
The sauce is made with 2 tins mushy peas, 1 tin baked beans and 1 tin tomatoes, curry spices
(I used curry powder, coriander, cumin, garlic powder and chilli powder) and blitz till smooth.
Then stir fry veg and meat, stock cube and add the sauce, simmer for 20 mins and voila.
Sounds disgusting but tastes like chinese/chippy curry.
Makes a ton of sauce but I freeze it in portions for later
Thanks Tweets, I'll try this out, especially if I can get the rest of the ingredients, from the value range, at reduced prices!!:D:D
You should post this recipe on SSM, I am sure you would get lots of thumbs up!:rotfl:N1LDA:D0 -
Just watched the professional shopper video....link here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17655624
I like the fact that we're labeled as 'professional shoppers' by Morrisons. What do Tesco refer to us as? 'Cottage industry shoppers'.

I can't remember who posted it either, but it's a S/World recipe and as you say, just like a chinese curry sauce - so all of you on S/W can make the most of this cheap rice and stay on plan
