Got this off a regular on here and very tasty it is and easy to do. :)

Hope they don't mind me posting the recipe. Mushy pea curry. They did post a pic.

The sauce is made with 2 tins mushy peas, 1 tin baked beans and 1 tin tomatoes, curry spices
(I used curry powder, coriander, cumin, garlic powder and chilli powder) and blitz till smooth.
Then stir fry veg and meat, stock cube and add the sauce, simmer for 20 mins and voila.
Sounds disgusting but tastes like chinese/chippy curry.
Makes a ton of sauce but I freeze it in portions for later

Thanks Tweets, I'll try this out, especially if I can get the rest of the ingredients, from the value range, at reduced prices!!:D:D

You should post this recipe on SSM, I am sure you would get lots of thumbs up!:rotfl:

Just watched the professional shopper video....link here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17655624

I like the fact that we're labeled as 'professional shoppers' by Morrisons. What do Tesco refer to us as? 'Cottage industry shoppers'.

    Good morning all :)

I am so behind on posts, I may have to just start from here. Yesterday was quite hectic so no time to browse.
Hope all are well, especially the 3dogs household.

It's raining here but at least it savese the job of watering the seeds.

Need to do a shop today but my back went last night. I'm hoping the pain killers n muscle relaxants will kick in in time for this evening's planned shop as we are out of milk and my money off coupons expire today:eek:

Thanks JJ - yes, we are plodding on. Getting Mr 3Dogs out most days just for an hour or so. But not today :( Rain this morning and just damp and windy now so just having a lazy day :D:D Hope your back is loosening up a bit hun

I can't remember who posted it either, but it's a S/World recipe and as you say, just like a chinese curry sauce - so all of you on S/W can make the most of this cheap rice and stay on plan ;)

Afternoon everyone - hope lots of bargains and wombles about for those of you venturing out to Mr T today :j :j
