2 NSDs so far. I am not going to even peep into the Grabbit board as I want to get to at least 12 NSDs this month. Some more stuff has sold on fleabay, fingers crossed that the buyers will pay promptly. Hoping that next week will be FLW so that I can list more, the fruits of my decluttering efforts. I am yet to find time to do surveys, so it just gets postponed. I have tidied up some of the kitchen cupboards and now have to get down to menu-plan for the numerous finds:)Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Well done for fleabay!I must get listing soon!
As much as Grabbit is a great board, it does encourage me to spend money!!!
I try to build in 20 minutes to my morning for reviews and surveys each day so it becomes a habit.
Good luck with the meal planning!0 -

I should also follow that, right now I do whenever there are any invites in my inbox.
Another NSD and a day of freebies (a small can of Coke zero, Nescafe 3-in-1 and MOC). Another sharing owl arrived from McCain. I am going to do a bit of decluttering tomorrow and then relax afterwards. Weather here in NW is rainy, cold and grim. My heating is ON to ward off the cold. On the flip side, I received a refund of £98 for gas - a good amount into the OP pot.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Good morning!
I am working from home today - so saving on petrol, but then I guess it will be taken up by having my heating on. It is cold here and the sun is still flirting with the clouds.

I was thinking yesterday that when I work at home I use more electricity but as we use about £1.50 per day in electricity even on a very "heavy" day, it is still a saving on the £5 it costs to get to work in petrol.
What is this sun thing you mention? I don't understand0 -

Our daily spend on electricity is only around £1 whereas on gas it approximates £2.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

An expensive week so far! We are getting the external woodwork including the gables of our home painted. So, in addition to buying paint, we've spent almost £300 towards labour. Well, we haven't done any house maintenance for quite some time now and hope everything gets sorted before the onset of winter. One of the pending tasks is to remove a 30' conifer from the backyard. We are shirking from that as it will entail a huge outlay for employing a tree surgeon. Maybe next year we'll do that.
Not very MSE, but we had an Indian takeaway last night from housebites.Use a £10 off code available here and also went through £co. So, only £5 spent. Food was yummy, much better than even a restaurant. However, it is available in only certain areas.

Nothing much to report on MFW front, other than that I did a bargainous veggie/fruit shop today at MrT. I was able to bag 6 packs of our family favourite finest green beans @ 50p a pack. So, it should be enough for atleast 2 weeks. Tonight, I am making another batch of tomato chutney and apple pie filling with pickings from the backyard.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74
