  • Another who has ready the diary start to now recently, over two days. Your commitment to being mortgage free is admirable. Really enjoyed the story so far. My mums had horses when I was young, she had four pairs of mucking out boots, I think its a 'thing' amongst horse owners to have a lot.

Good luck with the rest of the adventure!

    Well loading was a disaster!!!
He took one look and turned his nose up at it! No amount of anything seemed to work!
It meant that our lovely planned ride out on Sat didn't happed so we spent the afternoon in the pub instead! Felt v ill yesterday and going round the gallops did not help with my hangover!!

Ummm. wish I had some suggestions for horse loading. The little darlings can be such .......sometimes. V impressed with bravery going round the gallops though. Wahoo you!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

It's a long long flight and have to work as soon as I land so think they thought it was better than listen to me moan :D

I'm soooo excited. He's a 15'2 tb, 11 yrs old. A bit sparky but also not strong / forward / an idiot like my loan!
He's much finer than what I'm used to. I'm only used to hardy which could be an issue but coz he's thinner, he doesn't hurt my knee when I hack so should be better.
Took him for a nice canter in the woods today which was fab!! Can't wait til I'm back home!
