Halfway through another week - scary!
Had a nice team day / nite this week so things have gone quickly. The free bar helped :)
Hope the sun stays for the weekend as have the family over on Sun and then hopefully a friends BBQ on Sat. Not sure what to do for the family on Sun - BBQ's are so expensive!!

Its nearly the end of the week!
Off on leave tomorrow and going to Windsor for the day. Not been before so looking forward to it. Hopefully the weather will hold!

    Did you like Windsor?

I was there a few weeks ago. Didn't have time to go in the castle, but would like to go back again.

We did have time for a river cruise. I liked all the swans at the river edge, and also the place which I think was a station, and is now home to all the eateries.

Aw it was lovely thanks. Went for a hack round the Royal Park on a beautiful calm horse, had a stroll round the river / castle etc and then went out in the evening and got v drunk :o
    Would defo go back!

Up even earlier this morning has had to give a friend a lift to the big smoke. He showed me some short cuts to work so will give them a go next time (if I remember them!!)
Tried to get him to sell me his horse but he wasn't having any of it - so mean :D:D

Are you horseless now LauraJo, or is it a little while til he gets picked up?

The hack in the park sounds lovely, I'd love to get out in the fields in the sunshine!

Got him for the next 6 weeks although I'll be away for a couple of weeks of that. Will look to get one early August when things settle down a bit!

In other news got an extra 5 days work (above my full time job and generally mental life!) so that's £900 towards retirement!
