Oh poor you; he doesn't know how lucky he is. I have looked at horses that need re-homing from Ireland (just looking mind you!;)). It is so sad, one of them came with a free donkey. Now that was tempting. Unlike you however, I still have my mortgage and two huge teenage boys; so funding this would not be possible.
How often are you working/riding him? Does working in London make this tricky?
Have a lovely springtime hack and he will be back in your good books.:D
Ooooh I can imagine teenage boys are quite expensive to keep
How about trading in one for a horse and one for a donkey :rotfl:
Yes it makes it really tricky! I am just soooo tired all the time now and pretty miserableI reckon that's not helping me and horsey either!
This job wont be a long term thing I can tell you!
Not sure there is such a thing as a lovely hack on my boy - eventful and interesting are more the words but it allows me to clear my mind of everything else!
Just popped to l!dl on my lunch break - wow that shop is great. Got a ton of stuff and 6 bottles of wine, 16x beer and everything for tonight for £60. Remembered to take bags too :AMortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

OH dear, that sort of thing always makes me want to go and get them too...especially with a free donkey. I do have to harden my heart. Fortunately Mr Watty reminds me about the time I don't have too....
Am with LauraJo - any chance I suspect the horse + donkey would be cheaper to keep than a teenager :rotfl:Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Don't tempt me.......:rotfl:0

Uggghhh Monday morning... but....at least the sun is shinning!!
Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
Mine wasn't too bad - neighbours round but left over food has done us another 3 days and unbelieveably there is still a little bit of wine left (only because they all bought drink - we actually got through an awful lot!)
Spent £100 on horse stuff on Sat - really exciting things like new fence posts, hose pipe and a tap - rock and roll!!
The lady I'm sharing the field with is going to pay half.
We needed to buy extra fence posts coz the bu&&ers kept jumping over the electric tape!! The tall fence posts are soooo expensive so I bought the cheap ones and gaffer taped them together:D
They haven't wrecked it yet. Also in the long term it will save me money because they wont trash the field and I wont have to spend loads on hay which is stupidly expensive!!
Too tired sat night after doing the fencing so didn't go out.
A day at the yard yesterday so quite cheap.... seriously people on here wanting a horse - they seem quite expensive to keep but they do mean you have no time / too knackered / broken to actually go and do anything else :rotfl::rotfl:Mortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

Amazingly I don't ache today - even made it to the gym for 7 :A
Probably means I should work harder in my next lesson!
Not a very MSE day today because I haven't bought anything in for lunch. I was so knackered last night I literally couldn't be bothered to get anything ready and by that I mean I literally couldn't be bothered to put a tin of soup in my bag
Will be careful where I go though as you can easily clear £8 for lunch in the big smoke
