I'm still too cheap to buy expensive ones like that. My cheap version of muck boots just about held up in the river yesterday (just a couple of damp patches!!) so might have to wear those until they die!! If not, I think the £25 riggers seem like a good option - will defo help when he steps on my toe!!!
We are now over halfway thru the working week so nearly the weekend
Short week this week as off to Rome on Friday:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hope Rome wonderful....Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Well... some of it in Rome I guess
It was fab and lovely and sunny (no mud for 4 days!!)
We ate too much and drank too much. Didn't worry about the cost of stuff and just had fun!!
Work has been hell this week - serves me right for taking 2 days off
Got our bonus news through and it was disappointing. It means that I will still have about £2k to pay off but that's not bad for 2 reasons:
1. Its only £2k - not much in the grand scheme of things!!
2. At least I hadn't spent it already - I know lots of people that are using it to pay off credit cards etc so that much be a bit of a shock for them
My lodger has confirmed she is moving out mid march (which fits in perfectly with our plans!) but has asked to come back for 2 months over summer whilst she does some work here - see we can't be too bad to live with!
Dilema tho - looking in through her patio door today I can see a load of rubbish all over her floor and a split bin bag (she is away). I'm asuming one of the dogs has gone in there and done it (although not sure how but they are sneaky!) So...do I....
a. go in and clear it up even though that means going into her room without permission
b. leave it
I have text her but not sure if she will get my message whilst abroad and not sure when she is back - can you imagine getting home in the early hours to find that mess?!!
