    Hi

I will keep this short as I have just written a very long reply which my computer inadvertantly lost!!!!

Spoke to Payplan and I do not think I am able to do a DMP as I only have £39.50 surplus per month.I feel so alone now and I am going to have to battle my creditors more or less on my own .Payplan were very helpfull and I have a ref number to quote for my letters to the creditors but when i worked out the pro rata payments they seemed very low

    EGG - 15000 LOAN - £20.80 offered
    EGG -2500 C/C -£3.46
    f/dIRECT - 6000 LOAN - £8.32
    F/Direct - 3500 C/C - £4.85
    f/dIRECT - 1000 o/d - £1.38
    Argos £480 - £0.66.

I suppose that the creditors cannot have what i do not have ie more money and at least the expenditure figures allow my family to live and have some sort of normal life. I hope I can stay with this thread as I am sort of doing a DMP although a DIY one . Sorry i feel very down and with the above figures i cannot see me having a debt free life for quite a while. I thought at least today i would have a date in the future to look forward too.I see a hard road ahead with my creditors and I will keep you posted if you dont mind.I will go now before I depress anyone else and I do apologise for any spelling and grammer mistakes as i will submit this before i edit it as that is how i lost my last message

Speak to you all soon. Very down and depressed yellowmonky

Yellowmonkey I'm sorry Payplan were unable to help. May I suggest that you now try CCCS as the figures can vary and they might say that is ok for them? I am with CCCS and have found them great. Might be worth a try?

I just wanted to say keep your chin up I know is is not easy I feel for you really, I know that horrible sick feeling in the stomach when I think about my debts. Yellow Monkey - I know it's difficult, and this may sound patronising, but try not to let it all get you down too much. When we started our DMP two years ago we had debts of over £60k, and just over £150 per month to pay them. We managed to get out DIY DMP agreed.

Have you posted an SOA? There may be things on there that you might be able to cut the cost of slightly in order to increase your available cash to creditors. I have discovered the "Old Style" thread, and I love it, and it does seem to be working :) Of course there's all the Quidco and similar sites than can be money for nothing.

    hugs xx

:p Pro rate means that you work out what percentage of your overall debt is owed to each creditor, and then you pay them the same percentage of your overall available repayment money.

yellowmonkey - I'm really sorry about your outcome with Payplan, I agree with the others try CCCS, you can fill in your details on line. Their figures differ slightly from Payplan and they may be able to help with a DMP.

And don't worry about us getting depressed, we are all in the same boat. Sometimes we can offer advice , and if someone can they will. But remember our thread is called the "mutual support thread" .
We are hear to listen ,help with advice if we can but always offer unwaivering support and cyberhugs if you need them!!:grouphug:
