    Hi.

What a miserable bank holiday. Chucking it down so nothing else to do but strip ;)

I have the radio on and i have opened one of my fosters and am stripping to the sound of Phil Collins for some reason.

I think it will take me an age to get this wallpaper off :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ha ha - what are you like YM?! You could be the stripper at the DMP Mutual Supporters Club Party I throw once I've won the lottery... Sorry to hear about the bad weather. It's quite lovely up here, but I'm stuck indoors lesson planning ALL DAY, bbbbbbbboooooooooooooo!

Sweety - well done for dealing with the phone demons. It's terrifying at first. HSBC sounded not too bad. I know exactly what you mean about the stigma that's attached to people in debt. I've tried to tell myself that I've put a stop to my debt, I'm paying it off now. So I am no longer bad with money, in fact I'm better than I ever have been with money - woo hoo! That makes me feel good. Although I've got £26k+ of debt, I think of myself as in a better situation than someone who has just a couple of thousand on credit cards because I am wise about how it can spiral now and they are in danger of it getting out of control. Just wish I'd had the realisation a few years ago!! Does that make sense? Don't want to sound like I'm a money smart@rse, but thought sending you some positive thoughts as it helps me through the bad days.

However, I do feel that my resolve has been slipping of late. Must get back on the wagon...

    Take care y'all,

Thanks for the advice guys i was a but miffed by that Natwest letter should i contact them tomorrow or just leave it to the cccs?

Iam calling cccs tomorrow anyway to do my budjet again so i can get more of my debt payed off looking forward to that for some reason:confused:

Well i made use of the bank holls and sorted the house out form top to bottom ive got a load of stuff on ebay ive even put my playstation 2 on there with all its bits so iam expecting to sell that off for a few quid :T

It was a big deal for me to do that today as i love my games there lies the problem for my over spending in the past, it was my birthday last month and i got enough cash in cards to buy the new Nintendo wii outright not on credit maybe i should have put it to better use but i treated myself.

So the ps2 goes any cash made form that will offset the Nintendo ive also promised myself if i want new games i will sell or trade in old ones first and not just buy new all the time if ive not got enough money to get it new get it secondhand :T

Hi Streaky (I always fancy a bacon sarnie when I write that!) :hello:

I would just mention the letter to CCCS. I got one which sounds very similar (also a NastyWest ex-customer) and am sure they are simply computer generated. One tip for you though (I found this out when I spent about an hour on the phone to them on Friday night), they weren't letting my DMP payments through because they put a block on my account. This made it look like I wasn't doing anything to sort the situation out (even though all my documentation has been received, one dept doesn't talk to the other, la la la). So I was a bit annoyed about this and they asked me to send a letter detailing how mauch is being paid in and who by (sort code etc). They are calling me on Tuesday for a proper chat once I've got all the details. Maybe you should call and make sure this hasn't happened to you too? I've made two payments by now and I'm a bit worried where they have gone, don't want it to happen to you too.

Also, well done for sorting all your stuff out, especially your games. It's a sacrifice you are making but you'll feel great once the pennies (and hopefully pounds start rolling in!). Don't feel bad about buying the Wii, the money was gifted to you to treat yourself, it wasn't your own earned cash you used. I've bought quite a few things this month and have been feeling bad about it, but it's okay as long as we don't go over board and budget for it properly.

    Well done again :T

Hi teecee - glad you had a lovely weekend, well deserved. Lovely to have you back!

hunteress - glad it worked. I'm waiting to buy some proper fairy liquid before I try out the stain thingie. It has become huge due to all my scrubbing yesterday - oh dear. Well done on the triple time. Been a fairly rubbish day anyways, I'd rather have been earning more money.

One of my male friends asked me earlier which pop/rock star i fancied most. I still can't decide. Anyone else??
