New Dmp Mutal Support Thread

hi everyone, not been on for a few days, also not been able to read all the post on here, just had a quick scan through. sorry to here of anyone who is having troubles and hope it will get better soon. Its nice to here the positive post too.

hello to any newbies and welcome, you are in the right place :j

SMILE I am with CCCs I made my first payment to them 1st April 2007. I have had a couple of small problems with them first of all the first lot of paperwork they sent me went missing (hope it did not go to my neighbours). secondly the also said that our halifax loan was held and could not be included in the DMP due to us giving them no sort code or account number(we did). I called them and gave it them again and I emailed them and they said it was now sorted. Im still worried about it so will have to call them and make sure. I know you just want to get it sorted and running smooth. I feel like that too. hope you get it sorted very very soon. you made me lol when you said " i might follow in 10yrs once payplan start distributing my payments".


A QUESTION???

I have received 2 letters from creditors 1 from MBNA wating more money and asking us to call them, the other from great universal catalouge. They have asked me to ring them to talk about making arrangement on my payments and if they do not hear from me in 7days they will continue sending me reminder letters at £15 a time. WHAT DO I DO NOW CALL THEM? They have both said they have received my letter explaing my circumstances.

amani - I would call them and say "as you are aware i am currently on a dmp with CCCs and any extra money if available will be paid to CCCS and distrbuted amonst all creditors!"

Thanks for the advice, in a funny way it's good to know that I'm not the only one who's had problems. Most people (all over this website forum) seem to wax lyrical about how brilliant both PayPlan and CCCS are - I thought I'd contacted the wrong charity!!

Not 100% sure what you should do about those two companies. Firstly, I'd call CCCS and see what they say. They are likely to say stick to your guns, you can't offer more money because it's unfair to the others. Then you'll need to call/write and tell them again and again that you have to stick to your DMP and here is your ref no. The charges are awful... can these not be reclaimed? I guess you'll have to ride that one out. Hopefully they'll get the message soon. Has anyone else had dealings with these companies?

Smile, im with CCCS and its roughly 11 years till the end of my DMP if i continue just to pay 160 a month, but hopefully should be getting more hours at work so will be able to double that and then it should be 6 years or five if im lucky!!!
