    Hi dumb debtor

Just to let you know I have/had a credit card with EGG. Before I sent my DMP notification I phoned them to tell them i was planning to set up a DMP with CCCS. They were really good and advised me to inform them as soon as i had a client number and they would freeze interest. They did say i would get a default letter saying my account would go to debt collection agency but she told me this was a standard letter and as i would be with CCCs this wouldnt be the case as they work well with the CCCS.

    Hope that helps

    hi everyone,

teecee thanks for the answer on DS, DD. Think I can work out DH.

SEA no dont have any plans for my sons birthday, HE'S 13 NOW, he just wants to go to Meadowhall with his freinds to spend his birthday money at least he will spend it on clothes and trainers. I will do a little tea party with a cake for when he gets back. (He's still my little boy)

Got a statement from great universal catalouge today. I sent them the notification letter from CCCs and a token payment which they have cashed. They ask me to make up my full payment for last month and this month. Does this mean they are ignoring the CCCs notification letter??????????????

No expert here but I think they are trying it on. Stick with your agreed payments.

    Hi everyone

Hope you're all having a good day today. No letters/calls as yet. In fact, I haven't heard much from anyone for weeks now. They are all content just charging me extortionate interest! I really hope I can claim it back afterwards.

Amani, I think the letter you got just sounds like a standard automated one. Even when they know someone is with CCCS or the like, they probably just let these carry on coming to you in the hope that a handful of people don't know any better, and feel scared enough to settle. Don't worry about it - I got a similar one from Morgan Stanley really laying it on thick, then when I spoke to someone from there a few days later, she just contradicted what the letter had said. I suppose when you are no longer considered to be a valuable customer, they don't really care about their credibility to you anymore.

YM - was it you who asked about the Payplan A/C number and Sort Code. It's on the Justabank.co.uk website under payment details. Just check the numbers are the same and you should be OK.

Talking about Payplan, anyone having trouble with their ID number on the automated telephone service recently. Mine is no longer being recognised, so I go through to the main call centre rather than the team dealing with my account, then have to wait for a call back. Very frustrating.
    I'm moving on up now,

    Good afternoon everyone,

I'm glad to hear everyone has had a good day in regards to post!!! Same here - not a single letter!!!!!

Sadly I have not been on much this morning as I have had a run of anxiety attacks since last night!! They had all but disappeared last month and it seems they have started again??? Anyone else suffer from these??

Right heres my question for the day. Its aimed at anyone going through cccs. I have rec'd my password to access my acc online. However when I put my account number in the top right hand corner of thier home page it comes up with server/application error. I emailed cccs about it and they said make sure caps lock was off blah blah blah. I have tried for over a week now and its still the same??? Could there be a block on my pc or something??? So typical that I cant do something thousands of others can!!! Story of my life.

Okay sorry to sound like I am wallowing in self pity. Must go and entertain these three monsters (oops sorry children)!!!
