Well, I've lived in and around Cambridge all my life really. I work as a trainer for a well known retailer - basically, think general dogsbody! I train people on computer systems, how to sell things, what the products are made of etc...

I used to have a mail order company selling American comics, which never took any money, but was fun!

Whilst I don't do much playing nowadays, I've been playing the French Horn in various orchestras and groups for about 26 years now.

I've got a History Degree, which has been utterly, utterly useless in my ceaseless attempts for global power.

I have a undestructible sense that all good things come to those who wait, and that everyone here will eventually get over the debts and we'll all go off on some big old cruise somewhere and tell tales of beastly creditors.

As is now known, I have a passion for confectionary, but very rarely indulge myself these days (sigh).

I also make a bloody good Onion soup, and damn fine chinese lemon chicken.

    That'll probably do for now:D

So upset - posted my whole life history then it all went t!ts up again and it hasn't appeared:confused:

    So to start again
As you now know I am 35 (just):p . Married to DH43 for almost 14 years. We have two children DS7 and DD2. Had worked all my life until maid redundant at the end of maternity leave. Was a veterinary nurse for 14 years. Now considering going back to uni to do human nursing.

Got into debt jointly with DH via credit cards, loans and buying this house which needed loads of work done on it and still does. Mind you it has doubled in value since we bought it four years ago so well worth it.:T If we hadn't we would still live in a pokey wee flat.

    Thinks that's it - who's next

Wow - lots of us seem to want to enter the medical profession! Good news about your house Scottishmummy. I won't be able to get a mortgage for over 14 years - gutted.
