I phoned argos today to see if I could upgrade when my voucher arrives and they said if I get a blue voucher then yes i can.
Can anyone tell me what colour voucher they got for their satnav please.
I had planned to do that as well, but I have just come back from Argos but was told that I could not use the voucher to upgrade and the sat nav was exempt from the 30 day money back guarantee.0 -
I thought they were all exempt on that? I cannt see why you shouldnt be able to upgrade. What branch did you ring?0

I went into the Wisbech branch. On the receipt from Argos it is printed "exempt from 30 day guarantee".
I just rang Axa and was told the same thing (no upgrade).
It might be a case of pot luck - different stores, different policies.0 -
Aha But, I see that the binatone upgrade is bout£40 so i phoned binatone and guess what. You can get an upgrade to europe for £40 or £42.0

Or if you are abit naught search around and you may find the euro upgrade, put it on an SD card and run it.
The Binatone satnav is very good in terms of picking up a GSP signal. Yesterday I tested it inside a room in a corner so it was not even in sight of a window. It still managed to pick up a signal.0 -

Take it back tell them it keeps losing the signal. If they ask if you want a replacement say no as you would prefer to get a more expensive unit...but you do not have any money with you today. They will refund you with a voucher.0
