So FINALLY the pennies are counted, and I am thrilled to announce a total of £402.11!
That will make for a fabulous Christmas in the Cazzie household!
After years of saving rather loosely for a house deposit, I've decided I really need to go for it next year if I have any hope of leaving home by the time I'm 30! (Just turned 27...!) So, I'm rather ambitiously going to set myself a target of £1000 to make a significant additional contribution to the house deposit fund next year! Aim high, right! Please sign me up to that target, Sue - and then everyone please make me pot like a madwoman from dawn til dusk! (Is it psychologically acceptable to go for walks round the neighbourhood purely to look for roadkill...!?)
Well done to EVERYONE on the amazing totals, be it 1 figure, or 2, or 3, or 4! Every little helps, and I hope you all get to enjoy the fruits of your potting! See you all tomorrow in the new residence, shiny empty pots at the ready! WHOO-HOO!xxxxx

You've just joined, flumpkin! A very warm welcome to you.
Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
flumpkin, the new challenge starts tomorrow, so start saving as soon as you like. After I've put the new thread on I will put a link on here which, when clicked on, will take you straight through.
Oh yes! :j Excellent work, mumof3plusoh, brilliantly saved!!!!! :T Congratulations to you to on getting free from debt, what a joy it is to have your money to yourself, well after all the bills have been paid etc; still feels darn good. :grinheart. It's not stealing to do what others find encouraging.....it's learning from the best :rotfl: though that would depend who you 'followed'
BTW, you don't need to find your No...we can see it on your signature
You're welcome, elizabunny, it's a pleasure. One thing to keep in mind though is that it's been a pretty awful year financially. Seeing you always makes me think of the New Forest, home, what an aura you have!
Hellooo Observer! Ok, it's not a great amount, but it's still money saved that you have a use for rather than cash dwindled away on practically nothing. You can still be pleased, proud too. :T Have a lovely weekend and well see you next week.
Back again then, Cazzie, no wonder why! Brilliant!!!!! :T You sound so thrilled and I'm so very happy for you. Now then, your Target is updated as requested, so why not make a promise to come to the thread as often as possible, you'll find it encourages you to save far more.
For goodness sake don't start trawling the streets in the dark, it's far too risky...you'll probably trip over sparky!!! :rotfl: Seriously, it's not worth the risk. You can be lucky at times, but so many (tight [STRIKE]bu**ers[/STRIKE]) lovely folk use credit/debit cards; so if you see some - snap it up, but don't rely on it... and always keep a look out but be careful of posts!!:wall:All the best with that fund!
Great news, cutestkids and terrific saving!!!!! :T Another member soooo very happy with their savings! :j See you on SPC 6.Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheartPlease read the 1st post on Page 1 first so you know what's what.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -
An excellent idea, Ruth, though and if she's not done it this year, I bet she will next!
I've just done all of this reply post then looked yours again and am left wondering?! Not unusual I know, but have I just cottoned on to the fact that above is your Total, Ruth....£66?? Is that correct or haven't you finished yet
Sue, that is the weight you need for each set of coins to fill up with the amount it says on the bag. I'm sure you've had a very long few days not to spot thatwhich makes what you are doing for us even more fantastic!
I have just finished counting and I have.......
£712.55
So happy. Going to bank what I can and spend the leftovers in town tomorrow or Saturday cause we're off to the German market
You have all done so amazing with your totals! Hope to see the most of you on SPC6
To all those left to total good luckI'm off to scrub my hands now. YUCK!!!

Ahhh, I'm pleased we've sorted that out, Ruth... I did wonder about the weight per bag bit, but it still came across strange so I had to ask. I never thought for a minute it was your Total as there was absolutely no emotion.
Anyway, you've been squirreling cash away in a BIG way, very well done indeed, Ruth!!!!!! :T You enjoy the rest at the German Market tomorrow, I'd love to go to one - some day.Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheartPlease read the 1st post on Page 1 first so you know what's what.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0
