An excellent idea, Ruth, though and if she's not done it this year, I bet she will next!
I've just done all of this reply post then looked yours again and am left wondering?! Not unusual I know, but have I just cottoned on to the fact that above is your Total, Ruth....£66?? Is that correct or haven't you finished yet

What have you got, LC 2, a dustbin full of the stuff?!

Hellloo there, stressed, it's lovely to see you back :D and with yet another great savings Total to declare!!!! You did wonderfully well. :T How does that compare with doing it before by yourself, any difference?

Hi little_sweetie, I honestly am still in shock at having saved so much......so very happy though. :D

Anyone who reads that totally fitting post of yours surely has to be reassured that things will, in time, get better. Thanks so much for being so extremely thoughtful.

Decided to have a pot completely dedicated to £2 coins this time and another big tub for everything else, now to see if I can fill them :D:D:D

I used £2 coins in my sealed pot....make sure you hide it well to avoid it being raided! Mine got 'broken into' twice and completely cleared out by my wife. I think I'll use 20p's this time round! :D

Hi Lauren! Don't knock it as it's still far better than not having saved at all. Aside from that it's a lovely amount to have so close to Christmas. Be proud of it !!!! :T Just try to build on it, if you're able in 2013. Good to see you again, I never forget that Username! :D

I like the idea of having a separate pot for £2 coins. I think I might do that. :j I don't actually have a sealed pot yet.... tried to make one yesterday -but it didn't turn out as I wanted. I do however have lots of money boxes but of then of course I would be tempted to raid them.

Do fellow sealed pot savers save coppers and 5ps?? I have coppers all over the house in various pots. I also have a money pot which solely has 5 pence coins in. I think I might keep saving until its full!

I have discovered recently the joy of emptying my purse of coppers into the self service checkouts although it grumbles and spits them out again if you try to put too many in :rotfl:
