  • Hi everyone,

Glad the saving's going well, and welcome to the newbies.

Hope you feel better soon mishmogs. Haven't had shingles but have heard that it's no fun at all.

Have been housesitting for my M+D this week so have been away from the pot. Will have to feed it when I get back so that it doesn't sulk ;).

    Have a good weekend everybody!

I'll be joining you on monday when Miss Lily has her first official day (ok half day, she comes home at 12) at school :( i'll only have DH to talk too  What will I do with myself all day with no Miss Lily to talk too :(
On a better note, I have finally had my 'yes' response from the free school dinners and DS had his first one today, unfortunately I did lose my head a bit in Mr T last week and bought DD a lunchbox and drink bottle  not sure what I was doing as I knew i'd applied  She also has a water bottle so I cant even use the minnie mouse one for that :rotfl:.
Might have to flog it on faceb0ok (if Miss Lily will let it go :o)

Ahhh, don't you worry, LC 2, you're not alone. I know when mine were young I was far more organised then, still organised now, but in a less stringent way, because I know I can be I guess. Trouble is when we're young we tended just to get straight on with it, whereas these days there are far more distractions in life every way you look.

Maybe we're not quite such the headless chucks these days that we were then is what I mean. I'm sure the older we get the more time we take to complete tasks...the more fussy we are now than then so it still feels a though we're going at a rate of nots.

Ah, forget it, LC 2, it ain't worth worrying over, though I wouldn't mind betting you're missing those little treasures of yours :):):) Make the most of them on the school runs. :D

Oh jakes-mum, little Lilly can't surely be old enough to go to school!!! All the years you've told us about her ailments and funny chatting etc...now she goes to school! :( You are rotten to your DH! How does he put up with you!! ;) Good to hear about the dinners, though I guess (in a moment of madness, you've got to admit to many of them!) you got it all catered for just in case.

It's ok, sparky, I was generalising really as I can remember he was a right pain many months ago. Folk like that didn't ought to have neighbours! Perhaps he'll leave home soon!
A Very Happy Birthday to J for tomorrow from T & I. I know you'll spoil her all day and rightly so. :)
    Enjoy yourselves.
£5.47 in the pot for me.
Have a really lovely weekend, everyone, enjoy the sun while it's here.
