It is Jakes-Mum and me that help him and keep him sane!!

Pop what you save on here but you don't have to keep a total of what is in your pot some do some don't I don't cos I like the surprise. :rotfl:Let us know all your news cos we are very[STRIKE]nosy[/STRIKE]interested.

The best thing you can do is follow me and Jakes-Mum and you will be fine.

  • Mrs Addicted to Spending, You have done a great job with your DS. Well done. Many kids have little or no sense of responsibility at 16. Your son sounds like a delightful lad :T. Can I please swop him with a 19 year old girl :D?

Managed to pot another £7.75. I could have added another £6.10, but my daughter got there first!

  • Hi all. Unfortunately no money has gone in the pot for a while because I have no change since I haven't spent anything (but isn't that better?). If you were wondering about money from my job, I don't have one seeing as it's next to impossible to get a job if you're under 18! :(

In other news: I'm 17 now! I had my birthday on the 3rd :)

Good morning honey, Happy Belated Birthday ......

Keep plugging away with jobs, something will turn up if you hang in there, and at least you've found us early in life so you can save any money you earn :D

I've been aware of how many people join this challenge but I couldn't work out a system that I knew I'd be able to stick to until I had a bit of a lightbulb moment in June. Since then I've put all my shrapnel into a tin whenever I get any cash out of the bank or wherever else it comes from like selling things. That way I definitely don't notice it, and I've never been tempted to raid the pot. So, could I join in please? I'm setting it aside for a holiday, although I have no idea when we're going - this year, next year, sometime ....

I also collect £2 coins but that's in a separate pot.
Welcome to the pottiest and best thread on MSE; pull up a chair, tell us all your news, and look forward to pot opening day in November :D

Potted a couple of pounds at the weekend. September will be an expensive month with bills and my brother visiting from Canada and my birthday, but I'll keep potting cos I need to fill Patrick again after banking some last week!
I'm bereft now the Games have finished, what will I do with myself now?!

52p today as DH decided he NEEDED a fishing pole rest down the market today and was 26p light ;) so I spotted him the difference and then removed the change he was hoarding on the bookcase when we got home, I count the rest as interest charged :rotfl: im like a payday loan :D:D

£2.50 in the pot yesterday as I used my Nectar points at Mr. S. I hardly ever go there now so don't collect enough to save up. I go for their basics beans as they have only half the calories of most others,
Went for a chest x-ray, fingers crossed it's only an infection.

Welcome to our new potters. Good luck with getting big fat pots.
Hugs to all in need of one.
