afternoon all and welcome to the newbies, hope you enjoy the thread and saving.

got £2 for the owls head today and £1.80 for the cats head.

I have just seen my pet spider (called sid) try and catch and massive fly but alas, the fly got away but the spider is less then half the size of the fly!!! I have tried everything to catch this spider but it lives in the corner where the rubber sealant doesn't quite fit tight together in the double glazed unit and no end of hoover suction will budge it. It is certainly a canny spider!

right o off to warm up the chicken curry....

A very warm welcome, spendaholic66, a warm welcome to MSE too. It's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

To pop your No on, go to "User CP" (3rd title in along top green bar) then go to "Edit Signature" and pop SPC or Sealed Pot Challenge No on there and then be sure to "submit" below and voila! :D To make certain you know where to find us or any other threads here, go to "Thread Tools" on the lower green bar and "subscribe to thread". Be sure to check first to see if you're already subscribed. I've just sent all the info needed by PM.

Any other questions please always just ask! We all help each other here.

I so agree with you, mumof3plusoh, no matter how far down all competitors are - they were good enough to get there in the first place and having been in the Olympics will be such a wonderful memory, a lot to be proud of!!

Have a great holiday, sparky, we'll be thinking of you!

Excellent work, themstarrynights, well done you!!!

Wonderful saving, leictina, keep hard at it!

mishmogs, if you want to catch your Sid without harming him/her? then use a plastic tumbler and a piece of cardboard and sneak up on him and pop the tumbler over and carefully push the cardboard between tumbler and window *(whatever) and chuck him out of the window; choose one on the side of the house that gets used least....so the b***er doesn't run back in again!!! :rotfl:

    Sue x

  • Hi all,

Managed to pot another £1.15 yesterday. It all adds up!

Went to the footie at Old Trafford yesterday. It was awesome. I love the Olympics, particularly the South African boy, Chad, beating Phelps in the swimming. That was magical. :T

Have a super, duper day everyone and keep potting (and smiling) biggrin.gif!
