DH emptied his wallet tonight with all his shrapnel. 22p. I found another 14p in one of my going out purses.:j He also gave me £1.40 in 20p coins for the hols shower fund.

Had another proud mother moment at the weekend when DS got a gold medal with his team mates in the 4 x 100m relays at the Cheshire relays comp on Sat. Bless him as he stood on the podium to have his medal I think he was dreaming of an Olympic gold. Well you never know, one day his dream may come true. He is only 12.;)

Got back from holiday with money left over! Changed it back into £s and paid for food shop and had this 41p left.

It is so hot here that I haven't bothered going anywhere where I need to spend money, which is good, but also haven't had any more change for the pot!

Just sold my sons waterslide on facebook and the lady gave me a lovely £2 coin so swapped it for 2 x £1 (as it was Jakes slide so thought id better give him the money) and popped the £2 coin in my pot

Now wondering what else I could sell . . . is it still too hot to get in the loft :think:
