Hellooooooooooo, well I potted 14p this morning . . . but umm . . .well managed to put it in my terramundi rather than the sealed pot :o oh well im sure I deserve it :D

Also popped £3 into the sealed pot after another facebook sale, would have been £7 but I bought a christmas sack off someone else on facebook :o In my defence I have been loking for it for 4 years now as its a very expensive one from Debenhams, who were selling 2 different types one year! We bought DS the red one before DD was born and when we went the next year to get her one too they didnt sell them anymore  so every year she moaned her sack didnt 'jingle' (they have bells :D) we paid £25 for DS's  so I was well chuffed to get it for £4 :j :j plus its the green one so they cant fight over them :D

  • Oh, Sue, wasn't the opening ceremony brilliant! It's the latest I've stayed up for ages. I just couldn't drag myself away :)
The special effects were fantastic. I loved the industrial revolution bit as my maternal Grandad was a chainmaker (helped to make the chain for Titanic) and paternal Great Grandfather & one of his sons in the glassblowing industry. How they made the forging of the rings look so real is amazing

Anyway, I digress.. just 1p roadkill today plus 6p change from my purse potted.

Have a great weekend everyone x

57p today, made up for a few days having no change in my purse! I think we have also found a flat to rent, just waiting on confirmation from the letting agent that it is definitely ours. I'm so excited. I think I'll use the money from the pot to buy something nice for our first Christmas together! :) (or to pay our bills if our budgeting doesn't go as well as planned...) plus my boyfriend hates change so always empties his pocket and leaves little piles of money lying around. It usually annoys me but when we are living together I will be sweeping it all up into our pot! ;)
