Morning all!
What amazing weather! This is how summer should beWe have spent the whole weekend on the beach which would have been really cheap if we hadn't succumbed to eating out on the way home oops!
Anyway, back on topic I potted 89p at the end of last week and a couple of £2 coins.

Well I finally remembered yesterday that I hadn't sorted my pot out yet, so I re-purposed some packaging from the shop on Saturday as it had a nice slot in the top of it, however it was see through plastic so I covered it in some pale blue paper
it is now labelled and tucked away so I know it is there and can see it but its not obvious!
I then added some random change but forgot to count it before adding it :rotfl: good one! Never mind - will make it more of a nice surprise when I finally open it!
Thanks for all the welcomes as well, forgot to check back after I found my SP number! Doing well!!! :rotfl:
Have just thought, when I get my next teaching job (just finished at one school and no new job to go to as yet) I am going to have a sealed (and chained down) pot in my room that random change can go in, then at the end of the school year it can be opened and donated to which ever cause gets decided. Will be quite exciting for the students as well!
Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine while it lasts! Happy pottingFinally debt free! :j :j :j

Thanks for such a warm welcome everyone!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
I have no idea how much is in my pot so it will be a lovely surprise come November. I'm amazed at how much some of you have already got in your pots - well done!
I've just joined up to the site as I'm hoping to move in with my boyfriend in September, so we'll be sort of starting from scratch with house things - we've both lived in shared houses at uni but now moved back home with parents. I'm doing a placement year and then I have a final year left at uni so I realy need to budget well while I'm working and save as much as possible!
I just added another 35p to my pot - yippee!
Welcome aboard MrsNoonar! Good plan to start early- wish I'd had the moneysaving bug when I was it uni! :rotfl:Sealed pot challenger#1677

I bet your teeth look lovely. I asked my dentist why my teeth are not as straight as they once were and he said that they naturally 'migrate' as you get older  I just hope they don't go without me! :rotfl::rotfl:He didn't offer to straighten them on the NHS though ..... Mmm spinach sounds great in cheese scones...must try it....and you are very welcome to pop in when passing!!
Hi, just to let you know I am on my way :j. I am giving you enough time to get the scones in the oven!!!

you lot are so lovely
TBH he's driving me absolutely mad  I forgot how much he annoys me when hes here because hes booked holiday, but I havent even got the reassuring thought that he'll be going back to work soon and he'll be out of my hair! :rotfl:
Ive been shopping everyday these last 3 days as he just cannot sit still  seriously, might have to invest in some heavy duty gaffer tape and tape his backside to the chair
You are hysterical - thanks for making me laugh out loud! I have the exact opposite. I cannot get my DH out the house. Now I ask him only once if he wants to come with me and if he takes longer than 5 seconds to answer, I am already out the door. :rotfl::rotfl: Oh, the joys of marriage :T!!Save £12k 2013 '13 #66 £12,106.76/£12,000 // '14 #44 £10,081.90/£10,000 // '15 #67 £11,976/£12,000 // '16 #67 £7,322/£12,000
