30ml PCMC
14 skin bliss capsules
15ml new pro collagen advanced eye serum
125ml melting cleansing gel
50ml rehydrating ginseng toner
100ml nourishing milk bath or shower
Another bath soak but can't remember which
Plush wash bag
Price will be under £40
Hope this helps - coming to the naughty step with me???
The other bath product is Quiet Mind Bath Elixir.Pre-challenge I probably wouldn't have bothered to cut down tubes but do it all the time now and, as has already been said, the amount of extra uses you get this way is eye opening and very MSE!
A flurry of last minute April UU this morning in the shower, OH has gone to pick his new car up and play about with it so I took the opportunity to have extra long bathroom time uninterrupted
:j:j:j The big S&G Clean on Me that's been lurked by the side of the shower for literally months has finally bitten the dust :j:j:j And yes I did take unscrew the pump and use the last bit that it wouldn't reach! I do actually like this but it'd be quite a while before I thought of buying it again, stash not withstanding, just because I'm so sick of it! It is very MSE though and can't fault it as a product.
S&G Breakfast Scrub, a S&G product I have more love for at the moment than most, love the smell, very effective and scrubby. Everything Flakeaway is not! Talking of which.....
Final UU is a small tub of of FCUK Sugar Scrub, too reminiscent of Flakeaway for my liking, has that same, although maybe slightly lesser, greasy after effect that has you nearly slipping over!! I don't think they make it any more so BA isn't an option anyway (I wouldn't) but do have another one or possibly two in the stash I won't be rushing to open!!
Have a lovely weekend everyone. No doubt we'll be going for a drive in the new car later and I'm planning on taking advantage of Free Listing Weekend on Ebay tomorrow - I've noticed these are swinging by every other weekend at the moment which is handy. Wonder how the hike in postage costs will hit them.
Ems
I think I'm in the minority here cos I actually like Flakeaway.
Thanks for mentioning the free listing on Ebay today. Think I'll relist my items. Will have to be careful with the postage though I expect.
If anyone's interested I have recently had a couple of Elemis wash bags on Ebay and am going to relist them. PM me if interested.Another UU to declare, Elemis Pro collagen oxygenating night cream. This was a lovely night cream but quite expensive so might buy again. I have just opened up a free 15 ml sample of L'occitane's ultra rich face cream that I got last month. So far, I really like it. It's quite rich but not too rich.
Have a nice weekend everyone. Where is the sun?
I have one of these in my stash too but am waiting until I have worked through the Origins samples I have before opening it. Opened one of those samples yesterday. If you are looking for a good alternative I would heartily recommend the TBS Vitamin E one unless you have a reaction to too much fragrance like me. I am 43 and have combination skin and have to be careful as to how rich a cream I use as if it's too rich I get milia. Haven't had any for a while so something is working well. This is definitely worth a try as a night cream.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Valm just seen your comments now, as have been out since ten this morning, and haven't been back long. I couldn't get anywhere near the benefit counter in Debenhams for teenage girls. I'm afraid I didn't get the clinique in the end,I decided to get some new stuff to try. I still at the trying stage with most items, then coming up with a short list of products, before deciding on HG items. I will list my in's later after I've had a rest.
Today has been exhausting and expensive, long dog walk to go outdoors, then new walking boots and fleeces for both DH and me for our holiday with the dogs. Then to the shops to pick up my new ring for wedding anniversary in June, Debenhams, Boots and then m&s for nice food. Think we're sorting through the holiday stuff tomorrow to see if we need to get anything else.
Definitely won't be buying LIB box tomorrow after today's purchases.
Sounds like a lovely day though.Quick Question people. Do any of you buy stuff off Ebay?
Just got into Ebay today and realised I'm never going to use up ALL my stuff, so will try and sell it. Is it worth my while or what?
Yes although not so much beauty products unless it's a real bargain from a private seller. I find that the Ebay shops are not always so competitively priced. I do buy a lot of console games from there - usually the fitness ones because you can guarantee someone hasn't used them much!I was convinced i was going to buy the YOU box, but i havn't.
I don't wear nude nail polish - and despit that already have two bootle sof porchester square.
I don't use Dry Shampoo (and going by the Glamour samples don't like P&R)
Don't really value perfume samples.
I'd use the primer stuff but am swimming in LG primer atm; and i like the look of the Welda but guaretee i'd get the primer.
Prefer other cleaners to C&P - have a tube (from red) ready for my hols so don't need another.
I do like handcream but the sample is teeny; and too expensive for me to buy if i did like it.
And finally Elemis body lotion again i do like it but i have a lot of body so samples never go that far.
Why can't i ever normally be that rational??
I'm usually a sucker for bueaty boxes but i think i preferthe secreat ones (SSB, GB etc) as they come much better package and are a suprise so its more like getting a pressie.
I'm tired of being rational - it's so boring. I'm pretty much with you on all your comments. Don't really rate Nails Inc and can always pick up free one from Instyle as they are always on there. Same re: Percy and Reed. I too have a couple of bottles of LG Spackle - am loving this now. Does not make my skin oily at all like other primers so don't even want to try this one. My daughter uses C&P and if we were flying this year I'd be tempted to get a travel size but we're not. I would however love to try the hand cream and body lotion but have stacks of body lotion/butters to go at (some of them are Elemis as well). I like the look of the Weleda product as well. Shame, cos it's a great price and I can see why so many of you ladies would get it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Morning all just ordered the lib box.
Off for a catch up as we went up yo London yesterday, I was very good looking round the beauty departments of selfridges and John Lewis and didn't buy anything! We then went to see dreamboats and petticoats which was brilliant!0 -
Hello Everyone
Just ordered the LIB box too, thanks to the kind person who put the link on. Didn't order the last box but there were a couple of things I really wanted in this box so I think its justified.
1 UU L'occitane Ultra Rich Face Cream 15ml - This was lovely & would definitely buy full size if I wasn't trying to save money. I sometimes buy Eau Thermale Avene Rich compensating cream which is very soothing for my eczema prone skin and is only £16.50 compared to around £30 for L'Occitane so will buy that again next time I am at Boots.Mortgage Dec 2015 - £21545 Apr 2016 - £19930
Crazy Clothes Challenge 2016 £79.98/£1500 -
I have decided I'm definitely not buying the LIB box, most of the items are things I don't want. Well suppose I had better list yesterday's in's, I have some outs as well which is good.
Out
UU Claudalie Gentle Cleanser 30ml WBA this was really good the first one I've tried in a while that managed to both make my skin feel really clean and fresh and didn't dry out my skin or irritate it.
TA Sun Sense Lip Balm SPF 40 15g, think this has been open for 2 years and it seems to have gone soli in the tube WMBA
In
Soltan Active Ultra Resistance Sunstick for Lips and Face SPF 30 5g - although I have loads of lip balms I need something with high SPF if I'm going to be outside for any length of time in spring/summer as my lips ten to burn.
Soltan Once invisible SPF 25 200ml - I usually buy P20 every year as need all day sunscreen for our day trips with the dogs and our holidays with them, but Soltan was half price and this is a nice spray one which should be easier to apply.
Soltan Once SPF 30 75ml - a mini to carry around with us when out and about.
Annoyingly i have realized that the facial sunscreen I bought a while ago isn't an all day one, so trying to decide if i should invest in another one or not.
Now for my haul from Debenhams, please remember I used £10 award on this.
Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser for Dry or Sensitive Skin - really wanted to try this.
Clarins Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Lotion - did need a new one as the mini one I have is half empty, and thought it would be nice to try this.
For buying the above I got the following GWP
Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream 15ml x 2
Clarins Hydra Quench Rich Cream for very dry skin 5ml
Clarins Hydra Quench Cream Normal to Dry Skin 5ml
Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment 30ml
Plus a large makeup/toiletries bag, which will be used for holidays
I have just realized that the GWP is worth approx £1 more than the items i bought before discount
Off to the naughty step now.0 -
Budge up on the naughty step as I have ordered the L'Occitane kit I mentioned yesterday. Was swayed by EP. In my defence MrM loves the Almond oil and I like the verbena. The Cherry Blossom will go to my sister for either her birthday or part of her Christmas present.
Thankfully have been relegated away from the TV as MrM is playing Battlefield. The Elemis TSV was niggling at me because it had gone to Advanced Orders. Silly really.
Am gonna go and console myself by putting some more listings on Ebay. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Sorry cannot multiple quote, thanks for the heads up on the YOU box, decided not to get as only one thing (Weleda) I wanted to try, and I did get the Editors box.
VALM I am trying to resist the L'occitane shower gel set, don't need it, but it does look lovely. The Elemis anti aging set looks good, but I have enough of everything stashed and I had a lovely day out at Wonderwool Wales yesterday and spent ALL and more of my treat money on beautiful yarn and patterns.
Few use ups and a few little e-bay purchases to declare later.
Think I might try and do some stash organising today, I think it would help me not be tempted, if I see exactly what I have and can plan how to use things, also need to make some notes about things I have tried, so I can work to a HG list, I am coming to the conclusion (bit late perhaps) that having too much of anything can be a bit energy zapping for me.
Keep dry everyone, foul here, even the dog has gone back to bed without having a walk yet!The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
