Just so you ladies don't feel so bad about your collections....this is crazy hoarding!
That is beyond excessive! Mine usually fits into a little stack of drawers but I still think I have more than I will ever use! I'd rather have a small collection that I really liked and used all the time
And- I've finished a box of peppermint so as I am slowly getting through the tea stash Tesco vanilla chai was next on the list. Is it good? I might have to treat myself as it sounds delicious:DToiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
Is the Elemis going to be a TSV and if so do we have any idea of the contents?0

Some of the shower products are spluttering, but a few more washes to go yet. Is cutting them open with scissors and scooping the contents out onto a wash mitt a little too frugal? surely it will yield a few more washes? I may resort to doing this with the ones that I particularly liked.
great to see everyone getting on with the challenge.
have a great day y'all

Pre-challenge I probably wouldn't have bothered to cut down tubes but do it all the time now and, as has already been said, the amount of extra uses you get this way is eye opening and very MSE!
A flurry of last minute April UU this morning in the shower, OH has gone to pick his new car up and play about with it so I took the opportunity to have extra long bathroom time uninterrupted
:j:j:j The big S&G Clean on Me that's been lurked by the side of the shower for literally months has finally bitten the dust :j:j:j And yes I did take unscrew the pump and use the last bit that it wouldn't reach! I do actually like this but it'd be quite a while before I thought of buying it again, stash not withstanding, just because I'm so sick of it! It is very MSE though and can't fault it as a product.
S&G Breakfast Scrub, a S&G product I have more love for at the moment than most, love the smell, very effective and scrubby. Everything Flakeaway is not! Talking of which.....
Final UU is a small tub of of FCUK Sugar Scrub, too reminiscent of Flakeaway for my liking, has that same, although maybe slightly lesser, greasy after effect that has you nearly slipping over!! I don't think they make it any more so BA isn't an option anyway (I wouldn't) but do have another one or possibly two in the stash I won't be rushing to open!!
Have a lovely weekend everyone. No doubt we'll be going for a drive in the new car later and I'm planning on taking advantage of Free Listing Weekend on Ebay tomorrow - I've noticed these are swinging by every other weekend at the moment which is handy. Wonder how the hike in postage costs will hit them.

Another UU to declare, Elemis Pro collagen oxygenating night cream. This was a lovely night cream but quite expensive so might buy again. I have just opened up a free 15 ml sample of L'occitane's ultra rich face cream that I got last month. So far, I really like it. It's quite rich but not too rich.
Have a nice weekend everyone. Where is the sun?No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Yes, it is good, very good, a proper chai when you read the list of ingredients. I wonder if the people who make Palanquin make it for them as the contents seem very similar. I like huge mugs so have been using two bags, but one is enough for a standard sized mug. I feel the need for another cup.
Back to topic, and the realisation that I will probably graduate later this year, providing I don't slip up and start spending.
The only thing I have a lot of (6+ months supply) is face cream/serum/lotion/oil. (x 6, 3 in use) Clinique, Aldi x 2, Almay, Olay and Argan Oil.
Shampoo is down to 2 plus one solid (EverPure, Elvive both HGs and Lush Seanik)
Conditioner x 2 (Elvive, Everpure, both HGs)
Leave in conditioner x 2 (Pantene, not impressed, Elvive, good)
Body lotion x 2 (one Lacura spluttering, one Nivea Pure)
Body dry oil spray x 1 (Avon)
Foot cream x 2, (Aldi Hydro Pure with urea)
Body butter 0,
Shower creams/gels x 4 (3 in use on rotation, 2 OS, 1 Wilko, 1 Aldi Lacura)
Anti-persps x 3 (one Sure nearly gone, 2 x Mitchum HG)
Eye gel x 2 (Olay and Lacura).
A little non bought in. Samples of L'Oreal Youth Code Luminize Super Serum x 3. 1 used already - and it was nice, too but I don't think I'll be buying for a long while.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I made the mistake of checking the Boots ACM so now have 2 INs.
17 Mirror Shine lipstick in Purple Haze and Hollywood
BOGOF with voucher so less than £5 for both! These are my favourite, I used up a Purple Haze not long ago. I much prefer them to the Revlon lip butters.
I thought I'd be tempted by the LIB box but I don't need any more nail varnish or hand cream and I'm just about to finish a Porefessional in that sample size that has lasted about 4 months! Unfortunately it didn't do anything for me.0 -

Sainsburys Basics Cotton Wool: WIBA? Yes. Good price, does the job.
I've started using this all the time. Great price.I can't view the videoI may be able to later if I open the lappy but I'm trying to avoid housework ATM so am on the iPad
May have some ins on Sunday as it's my birthday. Have asked DH and the littlest for some tea towels
Happy Birthday for tomorrow Kaz. Have a lovely day xI have a dilemma, I have just realised due to a post of Facebook that I now have £10 on my Debenhams Beauty Card £5 that I earned and a free £5 which expires on 13th May. I am going to town tomorrow to pick a few things so might as well use the oportuntity to spend this now. As your all probably know, I don't really need anything. The only thing I have that is starting to run low is my Eye Makeup remover. I have been using the clinque take off the day and am half way through a mini so would need soon. Id I can use the full £10 credit on this it would only cost £5.50. The thing is I'm still trying to decide on my HG products and would love to try something new and treat myself to something more exciting (particulary cleanser wise, am nearly finished one mini and have a full size I don't like and a 30m of the Estee Lauder one from GWP still to try). So do I let myself browse and treat myself, or get the Clinique Take off the day.
I'd say buy the Clinique as I'd rather spend money on a HG I know I love than take a chance especially as you will have to pay "full price" for the item from Debenhams rather than finding it online. I'd hate to pay out all that money for a cleanser that I may not like.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
