forgot to say earlier that when we were out shopping there was some lovely owls in the market place the people that owned them had a sanctuary type of thing hope the photo's work

Hi, when we visited Kendal at Easter we saw a shop set up by an owl sanctuary too. Hope this works as I couldn't get the photo from my phone straight to MSE. Any tips would be welcome.

As envisaged I finished the pot of TBS Coconut body butter this am and am now using a Boots Extracts Fairtrade Cocoa body butter. Could feel a huge difference in texture and they smelt completely different as well. TBS have another offer on. I'll try to be good but I'm thinking I could bulk out my order with some treats for my friend to make up a hand/nail hamper.

Have painted my nails again. On my toes am wearing OPI Animalistic and on my fingers $OPI Ms Can't Be Wrong.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • evening all,

uu: Percy & Reed conditioner - free with a magazine a while back, this was ok, did a reasonable enough job but would not go out and buy it as I have used better which cost a lot less than the RRP on this stuff.

    happy pampering, xo

Well I'm popping in here with a little challenge to you all! I know that many of us are bzzagents so those who are will have heard about the live below the line campaign. For those of you who have not, here goes!
Basically, the challenge is to eat for £1 per day for 5 days. Many people worldwide only have this amount each day to feed themselves. I'm going to try to do this. Spoke to DH about it last night and he said 'no way'! So I'll be on my own unless the children decide to join in with me. I will be having 5 days of really boring food by the looks of it but must do my best to ensure that I stay on budget and eat healthily.

Who else is up for the challenge? It is on Facebook and bzzagent's website. I will pop in and post my progress as and when I get the chance. The week starts on the 7th of May.

Thanks for posting about this Kaz, you have given me the prod in the ribs to look into it I was needing! There was an article in a paper about this challenge the other day and I read it thinking "oh thats a nice idea" and then forgot all about it.

I haven't signed up yet on the website but I have been scribbling out some meal plans today and I think I can manage to buy my food for a fiver. I am going to cheat with the free coffee at work, I don't think I could go cold turkey on caffeine and tasty treats at the same time!!

Back on topic, I have UU a S&G hand wash - WNBA, I don't think it was a particularly special hand wash. And now I can start to decant shower gels into my hand wash dispenser and UU the gigantic stash quicker :D
