Hence, I haven't seen the argan oil posts. It's a real shame it happened on this thread though cos this is probably one of the few on MSE that doesn't become caustic. Whatever was said though chin up Willowbee you have lots of friends here and I for one would prefer you to give an honest opinion of a product. I've tried loads of different products because of reviews on this thread.

Couldn't agree more, this is the only thread I keep completely up-to-date with and post on. Everyone is genuinely so lovely and I too find the product reviews really interesting and helpful. Although its essentially about the toiletries, you know you can come on here after when you're having a bad time and you will be guaranteed plenty of support and kind words which is really nice, especially if its not always immediately at hand at home. I've dipped into other threads on occasion and sometimes been shocked at how rude people are to one another!! (I'm sure this is not always the case and there are lots of other friendly threads on here but I'm definitely a confirmed toiletries girl). :j I've never really seen that on here bar the odd individual/occasion. Anyway just felt the need to add that. :D

Some epic GA last night - to cheer a friend up who was feeling a bit down/poorly - not totally unselfless on my part as I was giving her things I was glad to get shut off I must admit. Her love affair with S&G is still in full bloom whereas I'm going through the final death throes of a nasty divorce! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

She was really made up and said it'd cheered her up (she also doesn't have much money so I doubt she gets to buy it much, did also get her the OOTW at Christmas so I'm sure she does have something of a stash but not to my proportions!). I felt good to be able to help and clear some room in the stash for products I like much better - Win/Win! :T

    GA:
    2 x 300ml, 1 x 50ml S&G Righteous Butter
    2 x 50ml S&G Flakeaway (See what I did there...:rotfl:)
    2 x 125ml S&G Heel Genius (Can't stand the stuff!)
1 x 125ml S&G Hand Food (Sick of it, got some left at work and its never ending)
    1 x 250ml, 3 x 100ml S&G Flirtigo/Girligo, (Prefer the pink one)
    1 x S&G 250ml Daily Smooth

I also gave her a couple of bits of makeup that were either unwanted gifts or that don't suit me but I don't count those in my stash ATM, although I may do shortly as the main stash has reduced. Its not so much that I have loads as I'm quite good at not buying something unless I need it with makeup, its just the epically long time I imagine it takes to get your average UU that puts me off!

Off work today and going to Chester later for a spot of shopping, once I get out of my jamas! It will not doubt be in the back of my head that much space has been cleared in the stash but have decided that I won't buy anything unless 1) I love it and pretty much need it and 2) It is in some way MSE.

    Happy Friday everyone!

Hello ladies i am still about but feeling a little bit sorry for myself at the moment will tell you why in a minute first i have a couple of uu

    UU
Decleor Baume Essentel WNBA did not like this

Olay 3 point cream 7ml used on throat and chest as the smell was to strong for my face it was a nice cream but wnba got a couple more in the strash.

ok the reason im feeling sorry for myself is because i had a hospital appointment last week and was told that i have got to have my stoma made permanent which i new i probably would but being told that i have to have it done in the next few months was a bit of a shock, thay would have done it sooner but i have to put on about a stone in weight as i am really underweight and when i go into hospital i dont eat so really need to build myself up. i have been put on fortisip and have to drink 3 a day which you would think is easy but its not as i feel sick a lot of the time. sorry for rambling.

i went shopping after and only brought some nail varnish from £land so have been looking on ebay for something to cheer me up and after seeing on here about L'occitane and sweet almond i brought some on Tuesday and it came yesterday i love the stuff but i have got to stop myself from using it yet as i have some molton brown and L'occitane cherry blossom to use first so here are my ins

    L'occitane Almond bath/shower oil 250ml x2
    L'occitane Almond bath/shower oil 500ml x2
    L'occitane cherry blossom solid perfum

    and 3 samples as well.

i am still looking on ebay as i want some Elemis Frangipani shower cream i love that stuff. sorry for the long post.

kax2904 know exactly what you mean about the alarm! My OH sets alarms from 5.55-6.40 even though he knows he won't actually get up until 6.40 so every ten minutes I have to kick him to get up and turn it off and I want to beat him to death with it by 6.40!!!

Some INS: missha perfector cover bb and cleansing oil. Cleansing oil isn't great (and full of carp) so probably won't use it much.

Really want to get the Burt Bees lucky dip bag but can't bring myself to do it, even though I also need/want some of their cream cleanser.

  • One OUT and two INs to declare:

OUT - Lush Iced Wine shower jelly. WBA in a different format as I found the smell to be quite nice but the jelly didn't lather up very well and a lot of it ended up going down the plughole.

    INs
    Benefit The Porefessional primer
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation in Ivory (can't remember exact name, will update my main list when I do)

I did get a bit of discount though because I had Debenhams rewards that were due to expire, and they are both things I will probably need to restock next month, so it was't too naughty...
