  • Just finished off some PHyto shampoo this morning. I really love this botanic brand and wish it was more easily available here in the UK.

I had a TA of Maybelline Superstay foundation - totally the wrong colour for me and far too cakey. I tried to make it work by mixing it but it didn't work well and I don't have anyone that would suit the shade to give it to.

Now just 4 other foundations to use up...:o

Necessary IN. As predicted the Aldi Hydro Urea Foot Cream,£1.99 150 ml x 2. This is a cream suitable for dry and sensitive skin, it is one of their specials at the moment.
I bought 2, as the body butter in the same range (from last year) was really, really good and I have no idea if/when the foot cream will be back. The body butter hasn't re-appeared this year.

This brings my total spends up to the year to £8.49... Now, that's not bad going!

Freebies received so far this year have totalled around £25 in value- a Sure cream deodorant, a L'Oreal lippy and the EverPure shampoo/conditioner.

No spends predicted for a while, next one will probably be body lotion. Or butter... if this cold weather continues we'll be back to body butter.

A UU (well will be by the time I go to bed) so will declare now - Time Dealy hand cream WBA as I think it was reduced to £2 and in the Boots magazine there was a voucher for 200 ACM points with any purchase of a Tiem Delay product 0 ie Free! :D
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

You're both welcome Scrappie and Willowbee, hope you're both feeling better.

    Thank you Sawan!!! :j

An awesome UU day today! lol.

    1. Dove plum and sakura blossom body wash 250ml WIBA? Yes, love Dove stuff.

    2. Garnier daily essentials 2 in 1 make up remover 200ml WIBA? Yes! may switch from wipes to this! Thanks for everyone's recommendations!

Has anyone seen any offers on this recently?

    3. No7 Time resisting day cream 15ml WIBA? No, I find No7 creams too thick and heavy for my skin, used it up on my legs and feet!

    4. Lush up you gets emotibomb WIBA? No, but I think it's been discontinued anyway, it didn't really do much.

    xXx

This evening OH picked up the virtually empty L'Occitane Lavender Liquid Soap in the kitchen and asked "where did you get this from?" Not being sure what his angle was, thought I had better reply truthfully, so said, "not sure some I have bought from QVC, some from L'Occitane on line", it seems he likes it and was hoping I could buy it again. Now, how can I get him to endorse the Elemis, Philip Kinglsey and Liz Earle, bearing in mind he is an old fashioned chap who is usually quite happy with a bar of Imperial Leather, no new man stuff here.:rotfl:

Scrappie - belated hugs! And also hugs to Willowbee - thank you for your updates - argan schmargan that's what I say!

Have come on the thread for some support - was emailed about a LE offer that is 48 hours only via the LE website- soooooooooo tempting but trying soooooooo hard to be good. I know with all your support I will manage to resist.

Have some INs from my Philosophy - YAY:
    Summer Grace fragrance 120ml
    Summer Grace shower gel 480ml
    27 wishes balm 30ml
Raspberry sorbet high gloss lipgloss (I can take or leave these - feel a bit meh about the lipgloss but it was still great value).

And an OUT - Trevor Sorbie mousse - my HG mousse - am down to 1 in use and 1 in the stash now - I was looking at the Boots website earlier and it wasn't on there so I hope it isn't discontinued. Will need to check next time I am in store and stock up I think.

I do not need the LE, I do not need the LE.....

I haven't been able to get online for a couple of days as work has been stressful to say the least! My friend who got me my present job is leaving. I've only been there since Jan this year and am not really sure how happy I am there. Am being positive though and looking forward to working with someone new.

Hence, I haven't seen the argan oil posts. It's a real shame it happened on this thread though cos this is probably one of the few on MSE that doesn't become caustic. Whatever was said though chin up Willowbee you have lots of friends here and I for one would prefer you to give an honest opinion of a product. I've tried loads of different products because of reviews on this thread.

Hugs to Scrappie too. Glad you are enjoying the new Philosophy fragrance.

Now kiplingmonkey you do not need LE. Plus there is a TSV coming up on 3 May so hold on! I was saying on my last post that I only use the essentials and they never have full sizes in the kits then lo and behold the photo in the QVC newsletter was only of these three products so who knows Q may have listened to the viewers for once.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

MrM is the same maddiemay. He loves the Verbena liquid soap. I have created a bit of a monster though as he now uses L'occitane after shave balm and Elemis shaving gel. I've also mentioned that small secret stash he has too!

I have a UU to declare. Tube of Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea body cream. Lovely stuff. Shame we don't have this shop over here. Anyhow shopped in my stash for a replacement and am now using Philosophy Pure Grace lotion. Had forgotten how lovely this fragrance is. Could smell it all day yesterday after my shower in the am.

Thank goodness it's Friday. Have a good day everyone. x

wow there is a blue sky today after non stop rain yesterday(funny how since they announced a hose pipe ban it has rained everyday:rotfl:

hoping for my SSB box today:rotfl:it has apparently be sent out and shows on the P.O system but no idea when it will come.

tried the sample of L'oreal foundation(lumi magique...strange name?) that came in the post but the colour far too pale for me (beige) and found it a bit drying for my skin:(

went to flower club yesterday afternoon and it was hot and a bit boring ,the woman next to me had her head back and was asleep but kept snoring and waking herself up and talking loudly it was hysterical:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
