I have 2 more UUs to declare:-

Bottle of Botanics Rosewater. WNBA. I've been through two bottles of this. The first bottle was fine and I repurchased. The second one felt astringent and dried it out. Maybe they changed the formula in between? Am back on LE IBST.

OPI Avoplex to Go. This is one of those products that I don't really get any joy out of using but realise it's doing something when I don't use it. Have 2 more in my stash I think from a QVC AD. Have one of them earmarked for a gift though.

Did anyone else get an email from Debenhams saying they had £5.00 loaded onto their card? Am after a tube of L'occitane hand cream fora gift as well so this will do nicely.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Someone from argan oil posted this on my blog yesterday!

    Hi Catriona

Thank you for taking the time to review our product.

Just a comment on the price of our oil - we do go to great lengths to ensure that we source the best Argan Oil for our customers and we test this in a UK laboratory (which, as yet, we cannot find any other company doing), providing a certificate of authenticity with each bottle. We have seen many dubiously priced products on the market which cannot be pure Argan Oil as they are selling at less than cost. Argan Oil is a very expensive oil because it is so rare. It takes several hours labour to extract just 1 litre of the oil and, to put its rarity into perspective, there are only 4 million litres produced annually compared to 1.8 billion litres of olive oil!

Would you be kind enough to include a link to our website (www.arganoil.co) in the main body of your blog?

We look forward to hearing how you find our product over the medium/long term.

Please email us if you have any questions about the oil or how to use it at info@arganoil.co.

Do you think the woman from Argan Oil is really called Jane Smith? If so she must get sick of reassuring people that she hasn't made up an anonymous pseudonym!

    I've got UUs.......

Bliss lemon & sage soapy suds. Nice smell, nice to shower with but WNBA. It's just too expensive for what it is, which is a perfectly pleasant but ultimately bog standard shower gel.

Vaseline aloe fresh body lotion. WBA. Vaseline stuff is underrated I think. Now on to my Jo Malone French lime blossom body cream. PRCP in action!

Sanctuary polishing hot cloth cleanser. I really liked this. Opinion seems to be divided about the smell, but I like it. It smells like a DIY shop, like linseed oil or something. I found it very effective. I WBA. Now moving on to the No 7 version.

French connection bathroom body spray. Quite sad to see this go, it matches my work perfume and has a lovely lemony herbal smell. Only problem is, I seldom remember to use body sprays when I'm leaving the house in the morning so WNBA for that reason only.

Just need to bear down on the fake tan products now, and resist buying a nice new summer perfume in favour of UU what I've already got.

All my good wishes to everyone who is going through a difficult time. Have a good weekend everybody.
  • morning ladies,

hugs to Lilly, and those that need them, grouphug.gif

I have a couple of uu's:Estee lauder advanced night repair 15ml - this was a freebie sample I was given ages ago, it is quite nice to use and a little goes a long way but I'm not sure it has done a great deal for my skin, it's also quite expensive so I probably wouldn't go out and buy it.

Clarins moisture quenching hydra care cream 30ml - I love this stuff. I have strayed to other face creams many times (hence the stash!) but somehow I always come back to Clarins, it just seems to suit my skin. I think a big part of this challenge for me is learning what works for me and trying not to be tempted by clever marketing ploys that promise miracles and just leave my purse lighter.

Also GA - two tubes of Clinique moisture surge - these were free with a magazine recently (can't remember which one). My mum loves moisture surge so I have passed them on to her.

    happy pampering, xo

    oops forgot another UU:
Nails Inc underground base coat - wnba, just didn't see any difference with other base coats, even with a £11 price tag.

    GA's:
Gave to a fellow nail polish addict
    Revlon Galaxy
    Revlon Belle
    Cult nails engimatic
    two base coats
    Verity G11
    Models own Juicy Jules

I'm just over glitter polishes, so they are all going to my buddy :)

Fiasco -I'm in LG envy. So far I don't have any - I bought the last TSV, it was a lovely polka dot design, but sent it back when I realised it would not fit over my shoulder as the handles were just that little bit too short.

I do however have many bags by Coach - not so popular here in the UK, but big in the USA. First UK store opening in London this yr, so may just have to pay a little visit, just for a look..........

    mmmmm...Coach......mmmmmm

I love wandering round their stores in the states - all I have from them (so far) is a purse.

    .

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You might just have rumbled her!

Well I survived the night without buying any LG on QVC. I did however get rather tempted by the travel card holder - The world is your oyster...

    http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.100850/walk.yah.UKSH~U579

It is cheaper on QVC than in her store and would get cash back too. I am thinking of saying I would like it for my birthday.

Anyway back OT, and another UU. My splutering Elle Mac body scrub is no more. I have one left in my stash but feel a bit bored with it. I don't have any other full size ones left other than that. So I might used a travel mini No7 Body Polish. As I haven't booked my main holiday yet (and I might not be able to afford one this year) I don't want it going off. Oh I did get lucky with a week in Cardiff in the cheap Travelodge rooms deal but that isn't till July.

Lily - mahoosive hugs, hope you can get sorted soon.

Rosemary - as the others have said, John Bishop is an ex-footballer who is now a comedian, for Sport Relief this year he did a triathlon http://www.sportrelief.com/whats-on/celebrity-challenges/bishops-week-of-hell of over 295 miles in 5 days.... the program that the BBC made of it was incredibly moving stuff - and the achievment is just immense....

No Ins, but I might have to go and get something - I quite fancy joining this party on the naughty step !!!

Happy weekend everyone - Im on call, already done loads of overtime, so glad its nearly payday !!! xxxxxx

Well another Saturday where I have gone to town and not bought any toiletries ( which is very good as don't need anything). No more UU though. On a positive note me and DH have chosen my Ring for our ten year anniversary in June, we should be able to pick it up next week.
