I've had another UU since this am. After I posted on her MrM and I did a workout - have just started The Biggest Loser workout DVD which I've probably owned for a month. Anyway got some motivation together to do it and needed a soak in the bath afterwards because I ache in places I never knew existed. So have also UUed the big tube of Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea body wash too. Will replace this with a bottle of Pure Grace to compliment the lotion I have just started.

Had a sort through my stash drawer to see if I can save any money on gifts this month. It is my boss's birthday this month plus she's leaving so that's two gifts I need to find for her and there are two other women on my team who have birthdays. I am pretty skint cos I need to pay for my holiday this month so this will save me some money. I will probably end up buying a couple of boxes of chocolate though cos I don't think they all like nice toiletries and my stash is full of goodies from Philosophy, L'Occitane and Elemis which I'm kind of loath to give away to people I haven't known long (does this sound mean??).

Anyway, I'm going to give my boss (who I've known longer) a tube of Avoplex to Go (last one in the stash - leaving me with one of their mini bottles and then I'm out of cuticle oil) and a small bottle of L'Occitane hand and body lotion. I know she loves L'occitane shea butter hand cream so this is a nice alternative?

Repainted my nails yesterday using Leighton Denny Berry Nice but it's already pretty chipped as I've just cleaned out the rabbit hutch.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • UU TBS Love etc BB 50ml - WBA but got shed loads already!

UU TBS Morrocan body scrub - WNBA lovely scent but not v scrubby.

I have had a go at turning bars of soap into liquid soap as we don't really use it in bar form, for a first attempt it's not gone to bad, but it did make quite a bit!

    UU:

dove soap-WBA-always have some of this in the stash

also gave away a few bits to a friend as part of her birthday present so 4 OUTs a bit of money saved:j

    hugs to lily x

I've been using flakeaway and at first I used it on dry skin as I find this works better and is more scrubby (I like scrubs to really plough off dead skin not 'gently exfoliate':D) and found it works much better like this. I tried it on wet skin and immediately knew why you all hated it! When I use it on dry skin it washes off really easily and doesn't stick to you and the oily film isn't there either. I'm really conscious about my arms and this has helped a lot with those 'bumpy bits'. HTH as I know a few of you still have pots of the stuff left to use! I'm afraid the sickly sweet smell is getting to me as well:rotfl:

I'm doing horribly this month. I don't know why. I'm giving away loads and diminishing my stash, but then buying really pricey products to replace it. ugh!!!

On the other hand, I am now done clearing out my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash stash :) I am down to only one product each, I'm so happy that I was able to accomplish this within the last 3 months. Thanks to everyone who stays on track, as you guys are my motivation to doing this challenge :)

UU: Boots nail polish remover. For only £1, it removes everything beautifully :)

wow well done tokkiandoliver;52633067 for clearing out your shampoo, conditioner, and body wash stash :T - I'm a long way from that but admire you for achieving that!
I open an OS shea butter and honey shower gel, first time I've used it and really like it :)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Lily can you get anything from thr doctor for nausea?I am still sufferring from the effects of the virus I had in december and the doc gave me some tablets to help, mine are called betahistine dihydrochloride 8mg.

    hugs anyway :)

Rosemary i have got sickness tablets from the docs thay begin with a C i would get up and have a look to see what thay are called but the cat is curled up on my lap at the moment. i am going to see the doc in a couple of weeks so i will ask if ican change my tablets as thay are not doing anything for me and i will ask about the ones you are on and see what he say's he is really good and if i ask for something he gives it to me or tells me if something else will work better for me.

thanks lady's for the hugs i didn't go mad on ebay yesterday and i only bid on a couple of things but i won some Elemis Frangipani shower cream today i put a bid in a couple of days ago so no more buying for me.

i was a bit naughty last night i wanted to use some new stuff skin care and bath wise and really wanted to use my L'occitane Almond oil but i was good and went in the stash and got out a Body shop Spiced Vanilla bath/shower gel that has been in the stash for nearly a year it smelt really nice in the bottle but in the bath it smelt like fairy washing up liquid so it might end up as a hand wash. i changed my shampoo and conditioner as well but i did not open anything new i went back to one i was using a couple of months ago.

so i had a nice bath and washed my hair then i did PYNF with sally hansen hard as nails pearl then put a mettalic green over the top so i now have pretty nails.

Two nail varnish INs - I hadn't bought a nail varnish in a while and I had chucked all the ones that had gone gloopy.

    Barry M vivid purple
Barry M red glitter - I have this on now and I LOVE it! I put it over a coat of plain red polish and it looks amazing. :)

I have 2 more UUs to declare:-

Bottle of Botanics Rosewater. WNBA. I've been through two bottles of this. The first bottle was fine and I repurchased. The second one felt astringent and dried it out. Maybe they changed the formula in between? Am back on LE IBST.

OPI Avoplex to Go. This is one of those products that I don't really get any joy out of using but realise it's doing something when I don't use it. Have 2 more in my stash I think from a QVC AD. Have one of them earmarked for a gift though.

Did anyone else get an email from Debenhams saying they had £5.00 loaded onto their card? Am after a tube of L'occitane hand cream fora gift as well so this will do nicely.

I had that email from Debenhams. I was caught out by it last time they sent it and so this time I read it carefully and I think it's only valid on certain products, which is fine if you are going to buy those anyway.

I used Botanics Rosewater before and didn't find it very good but am now using Garnier Toner for Dry Skin with extracts of rose and it's really good (and cheap!).

Another UU today - small size Neutrogena hand cream. I have some more in stock as it's my HG night hand cream :)
