Was it a full moon last night???? I think some people are barking!
Last week I saw a nice cardigan in the charity shop which I thought would fit my sister. I paid £3.50 for it, it was originally from H&M which is a fairly cheapish shop so i guess it may have cost somewhere around the £15 mark. It was too big for my sis so decided to sell it on ebay. I was offered a buy it now and was tempted to sell it for a fiver but there were a few watches so deciced to hold out.
I was out last night (Amy Winehouse gig...fantastic but that's another story) so on waking and feeling very rough from my over indulgent night, I look to see that it has sold for £26 plus postage....:j :j :j
Crazy but great.
I would love to hear of your unexpected great sales.

Well done you!
That's a great success story.
I think my best sale was on Winnie The Pooh storage boxes (a set of 3) different sizes, fit inside the other. I bought them from where I work for £5 and also got a 20% discount on this. I put the set of boxes on ebay and they sold for £20 somethingI was very pleased.

It was only a 3/4 moon last night.
I know because it was Mrs A’s birthday so I took her for a day out to the south coast. We went to the South Downs, Lewes and Hastings and watched the sunset on Hastings promenade. The sky was almost cloudless and the moon was clearly visible.
We had a great day, which helped to ease the pain of hitting 55 for Mrs A. I don’t get there till June.
On the way home I had arranged to collect some ebay purchases. I collected 10 items from one seller in Reigate. Over £300 worth of stuff for £62. We had a lovely Thai meal in Reigate and then I collected another two items in Leatherhead. I saved a bundle on p&p and it cost me virtually nothing to pick up as we were going close by anyway. I also bought 5 almost new condition CDs for £1 each in a charity shop in Lewes.
One of the good days.0 -
About 40 kinda suprise toys i was going to throw out. Went for £122.0

Recently bought Wii Play for £34.99 from Argos
Played the game and when I had finished it I decided to keep the remote and sell the game on Ebay.
It went for £16 + p&p !
Basically it means I got my remote for £19 - it normally costs about £300 -
:j That is really good! Well done! :j0

I once bought a PAYG sim card on eBay for £7.50 and it had £9.50 of credit on it. Then a year later I sold the sim card on eBay and because it had a "gold number", I sold it for £100 !!!! That was the best deal ever for me...If the world is a stage... I want better lighting!0
