Easy to get through using local numbers.

Main switchboard - 0151 432 1000
Empire - 01924 743648 or 01924 818181
Littlewoods - 0800 180000 or 0800 0151000

Any of those numbers will be able to help with any SDG enquiry.

Good luck

Auto-Man,

Indeed it is. Excellent advice. But not the advice the lovely Lisa gave the OP though was it?
Optimists see a glass half full :)
Pessimists see a glass half empty :(
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be :D

• I had a similar problem..I opened an account with Littlewoods bcos I needed a Laptop for my work and pay in Installments and there is a good deal on Dell Laptop for 699. I ordered it on the phone and agreed 52 weeks installment to save on interest and setup a Direct Debit, the adviser said that's all done. But my account shows order being processed and I haven't received any confirmation of the order. I called them in the evening after work and they said I need to speak to other department and they are closed. Asked me to call them tomorrow.

Whats wrong with my order and why didn't adviser told me when I was placing the order that I need to speak to other department as it was my first order.

Why anyone would waste £699 on a PC laptop when a couple of hundred more they could have a Mac.
• £700 is a lot for a first time order - they will want to carry out credit checks on you.
After all you could do a bunk without making a single repayment.

Hi,

It sounds like your order is being held by our underwriting team as they may require a few extra details. This is nothing to worry about and is common practice with new accounts.

We may also request a token payment when customers are placing orders for a large value item or large value order. This is put in place as an extra security measure and the amount requested will be taken off the cost of the item.

You can make this payment online or over the phone and when received, the order will be released and the order will be delivered in a couple of days.

If you want us to double check this for you please email your details to us at help@littlewoods.co.uk and we'll check your account to confirm this with you.

Hope this helps

Chris

Out of all your posts this is the most sensible one ever. I will not thank you because you did state we need to seek your permission before doing so.

I too am having similar problems. Having been thru the registration process, been given £500 credit, I placed an order for a Nintendo wii for my sons birthday. I was given a delivery date which passed while the order was "being processed" I then received an email asking for a payment of £16 which I duly sent and has been processed, I checked this morning to hopefully see my order was on its way only to discover a lovely message saying "credit rejected" what's going on with my order? Am I out of luck and having to find somewhere else at short notice?

What did Littlewoods say when you contacted them?

Or shall I get my crystal balls :) out and do a bit of random speculation?
