I've got to say, the fact that Lisa has bothered to reply (in a polite and professional way, and with a gramatically sound post), this would instill confidence in me to order from Littlewoods.

And I'm saying that after reading the initial posts and thinking "poor show".

And no, I don't work for them!

or cancel the order, go to Currys/PC world & buy a higher spec laptop for much cheaper than from a catalogue and use their finance. No credit check just bank and card details needed, i think it is 19.9%, probably cheaper all round.

No credit check at Currys & PC World:eek:..........
I can see the queues tomorrow stretching right down the street, do we go to spend the cash on the petrol we don't need because of the strike that hasn't been called. OR rush to join the queue for the no credit check finance and get anew TV, laptop, washer, fridge freezer etc. etc..........

    Hmmm decisons decisions:rotfl:

or, if you go to a retail park with your wife, you may be able to do both PMSL
If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...

  • So here's a small update.

I ordered over the phone and paid a deposit and the advisor's name was Alison. I'm telling you this because she has been a revelation. Great service from her. I spoke to a few others a couple of times and they were all being miserable and one was even talking to her colleague at one point and just ignoring me. Laughing and joking away and I heard her say 'I just wish people would !!!!!! off'. I was very !!!!ed off at the time and that sort of service is disgraceful, I'd like to think she is no longer with the company.

Anyway was told it'd be delievered by the 10th. Only been 2 days and it's been loaded onto the van already so fingers crossed for today.

The Littlewoods website is fantastic allowing you to do many things including tracking your order. Once it confirms that the goods have been loaded onto the van, it means that they are DEFINATELY COMING TODAY:beer: and stay at home to receive your laptop.
You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)

How about saying thanks to the lwoods rep on here?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
