    So here's a small update.

I ordered over the phone and paid a deposit and the advisor's name was Alison. I'm telling you this because she has been a revelation. Great service from her. I spoke to a few others a couple of times and they were all being miserable and one was even talking to her colleague at one point and just ignoring me. Laughing and joking away and I heard her say 'I just wish people would !!!!!! off'. I was very !!!!ed off at the time and that sort of service is disgraceful, I'd like to think she is no longer with the company.

Anyway was told it'd be delievered by the 10th. Only been 2 days and it's been loaded onto the van already so fingers crossed for today.

    03/04/201214:06Order being processed at UNKNOWN
    04/04/201214:48Despatched from SUPPLIER
    04/04/201223:12Sorted at DROITWICH
    04/04/201223:35Sorted at DROITWICH
    05/04/201206:54Received at EDINBURGH DEPOT
05/04/201209:21Loaded onto van at EDINBURGH VAN
    :T

This is being sent by Yodel isn't it?... Good luck is all I can say.

Assuming your no where near Edinbrgh it's going to go to another depot in another city, sit there for a day, then get on to another van and go to another depot in another city, and then it might get to you by the 10th.

Something I had coming via yodel went through about 4 depot's before I received it... 3 working days after it got picked up at 7am.. not including the pick up day... on a 48 hour service.

They also just 'left' my little woods order outside my front door, for anyone to take a couple of days ago.

Okay thanks Lisa. I've been waiting on the phone for 20 minutes now. :o

    Lisa,

Just a shame that Littlewoods cannot provide a geographic telephone number for its clients to call on.

Does the extra couple of quid your company made out of the OP's telephone calls to your premium rate number really matter that much to you?

As a point of principle I don't do business with companies that only offer premium rate numbers. The fact that they use one tells me what I need to know about the company without me needing to make any calls.

Easy to get through using local numbers.

    Main switchboard - 0151 432 1000
    Empire - 01924 743648 or 01924 818181
    Littlewoods - 0800 180000 or 0800 0151000

Any of those numbers will be able to help with any SDG enquiry.

    Good luck

When I started with Littlewood's or I should say its previous name of Choice I was given an £800 credit limit. Today 2 years on its £70000!
Never ever would use that, I bought a tv on bnpl I then paid it off in full so as to avoid interest, then I got £45 rewards back.
I know you can go to Currys etc but if you can uses the BNPL pay it off isn't bad.

One too many zeros? Although even seventy grand probably wouldn't get you much from a catalogue. :)

My credit limit with another from the Littlewoods stable is just under six thousand pounds. The balance on the account is zero and I rarely use it. Every time I make a purchase they seem to add a few hundred pounds to my limit. Crazy!

I'm waiting for them to send me a few good offers to take advantage of, which they do when I haven't made any purchases for a while. :)

Yeah went a bit mad with the zero's there! They do keep increasing my credit limit as you say when you purchase something.
