OS thread for Tues 27th Feb 2007

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 27 Feb 2007 This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning all. I am surprised to be starting this so late, so Good morning to you all.

I am off to work soon and leaving my OH at home to worry about looking for a new job. Not the best situation, but she could no longer put up with her previous employment, so it's the lesser of 2 evils.

I think it's half price listing day on E-bay today, so should be useful.

I have not gor much to report, Other than to wish you all a good day....

Could hardly get up this morning. The old MS is playing up! Chucking it down here too. Bodger & Badger have nearly finished the rendering on my chimmney, it was their fault that I got a sitting room full of soot!
    Be glad when it's finished.

Ds1 phoned me last night to tell me he was ok, he sounded so excited he had done weezling?? and been on a night hike, and today he is going caving and rock climbing and building a raft. Sounds like great fun.Seems really strange him not being here.

36_22_9.gifHappy Birthday Crazy Chick! Hope you have a lovely day.

Good morning everyone, hope you are all feeling OK, and that those who find sleep hard had a good night last night.
I need to crack on with some homework this morning - finally I seem to be making some headway with the written stuff.... but now I am behind with the case studies, lol. I'm only going to have a quick moozie for pics online to go with my essay this morning. TBH I wish I didn't have to - but the tutor has said she'd 'like' some.
Then it's off to college for me and school for my darlings.....
I don't think I'll get chance to get back online for long today as it's taekwondo for the little one when I get in tonight, but I'll probably read a bit of the thread ;)
I hope everyone has a good day - I know it's yukky in most places this morning, but aren't we all lucky to have somewhere to be nice and cozy in?
Hugs to anyone who is in need today ((((hug))))

    Morning folks
    Happy Birthday Crazychick

It's chucking it down here as well and just heard on the radio that snow is expected

Yesterday at work another girl and I decided to pop out for a spontaneous lunch. It was lovely. I had chicken nachos mmmmm.

There is a group of us at work as well trying to arrange going out for dinner tomorrow night as we have all worked together for a while but we are getting moved about and this is our last week as a team.

Had a very productive evening yesterday. Between online surveys and Greasypalm I "made" £35 in 2 hours:j :T
Keep trying to tell my hubby I would be much more use at home all day than at work ;)

Another day at work today. Tonight I have the usual tidy up and hoover then check through the bank a/c as today is bills day.

    Bye for now :D
  • Morning Chums ,
and Happy Birthday to all who have one today. It's not a very nice day today at the moment it's cat's and dogs outside, which is a nuisance as I did my washing last night and now have a clothes horse full of wet things.

well time I wasn't here as it's busy, busy busy today .<<hugs to those in need >> and smiles to those who don't need .
Why not try smiling at someone today instead of frowning, it may brighten up someone else and anything that brightens up a grey February Tuesday morning must be good

    morning!
    Happy Birthday crazychick!

wet and miserable morning here so far

just dropped DS1 at bus stop, still got a bit of pain from abscess but seemed to be feeling bright enough.

DH in pain with both his leg and back. A door shut on his leg last week and its been painfull ever since so he's finally decided he might have to see the doctor:rolleyes: - he should be resting it as his ankle keeps swelling with fluid but he doesn't want time off work.He will probably have to!

Day off for me.Got a long list of things to catch up on after a long working weekend!

    Have a great day

Take care and (((hugs))) to those in need of one!
