    I like the thanks button, it means on freebies and comps you can say thanks without worrying you are cluttering up a thread, and also if someone has given you good advice you can say thanks and they will know you appreciated it,
    and it's nice to post a thread/tip and see who thanked you for it,
    but today I've noticed especially in comps that people are starting to put 'thankyou' in a new post again, instead of using the button,
    don't know why this is :confused:

    I agree with this post, I posted thanks to a poster instead of quoting then posted saying I didn't mean to thank you, which sounded rude .....

    lmao :D:D I bet the poster was well chuffed with that, sorry but im crying laughing here :rotfl:

    makes me think that all my "thanks" have been mistakes tho now :eek: :(

    just noticed one of the comps had about 7 replies and looked and they were all thankyous

    but going back to the thankyou thingy (sort of) and post-bumping, I saw a hack that does this, and got all excited about how useful it would be on some boards.

    But it looks like it's only for vbulletin v2 and there isn't one for v3icon9.gif
