I reply to many posts and not being able to see who said thanks without having to trawl through lots of threads is cumbersome. I would like to be able to see who thanked me more easily.0

maybe it's something for the "when they get time to sort this out" wishlist...

.........but is anyone else a saddo like me?
Since I logged out yesterday afternoon, I find this morning that I've suddenly got 'Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post' under my name. It's driven me crackers wondering which post has earned me this feedback. I'm so sad that I've had to look at EVERY post I made yesterday to find the thank you. I need to get (a life) out more.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm just as sad with PM's too.........I get excited when I get a PM.:o

OK I've heard the request for 'see who thanked me' it's gone on the TTD list (though there's a few things ahead of it)

Can you put the thanks button somewhere else; I keep thanking people who I've meant to quote. Otherwise can we have the facility to withdraw thanks inadvertently given?0

Ooooh, I am chuffed to bits we are going to have the facility to see where the thanks have come from (in time) - I spent ages last night trying to find where I had gained thanks - to no avail lol. I need to stop posting so much I guess :rotfl:"It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."

I agree with this post, I posted thanks to a poster instead of quoting then posted saying I didn't mean to thank you, which sounded rude .....0 -
I am in favour of the 'thank you' button, it's a great idea.
I do think it's a bit sad that it also highlights the fact that a few people are too lazy/ignorant/rude to use it.
By that I really do mean only a few, but why do they post requests for help saying they are "desperate", then when they get information or help it seems as though they don't even bother to revisit the thread they started let alone say "thanks".
I used to excuse them by thinking that they were probably to busy to post another update, but now that it's so easy to say thanks why don't they ?0
