Oh my god!

I just got through to a poor sales person at See Tickets about why they had cancelled my tickets, and she was about to have a break-down. She told me that she had been working for about an hour and had taken over 200 calls from people complaining that their tickets had been cancelled. She was very annoyed that the supervisor had given up and gone to the pub!

She's been advising people to ring back in the morning when there is at least some of the managment people in the office - she can't do anything, as there are no more tickets to re-allocate to people.

There was no point in shouting at her - she really couldn't do anything. I felt quite sorry for her actually, but not as sorry as I feel about myself missing out!

If 200 people in one hour is anything to go by, there is going to be some hell to pay tomorrow morning at See Tickets!

hi a97am its soooooo unfair isnt it I lost 6 tickets through see tickets although 2 did go through.

good luck at getting some more

I managed to buy 5 tickets off SeeTickets for Manchester on the 10/12/07 at about 10:00. Got an e-mail confirming my order at 13:20. Around 20:00 I then rang them to confirm as no money had been taken yet, I gave them my reference and they said that the bank had pre-authorised my payment I also asked about seat numbers, etc and they said they would be available nearer the time. They also said the tickets should arrive around 10 days before the event. No cancellation e-mail up to now

I am worried now also. I never got the original confirmation emails from seetickets because of a spam filter that removed the emails.

I've since managed to get my booking reference numbers and track my tickets and it says they will be mailed to me, when I login. *However* it doesn't say where the tickets are (what block or seat number, just "seat"... that's it) so I'm wondering if I'm receiving the same 'fate' as others here.

I wonder if those who used seetickets could tell me...

1) if you've had your tickets cancelled, do you get anything when you go to http://www.seetickets.com/see/content_tracker.asp (ie. does it imply you still have a ticket reservation?)

2) if you ordered tickets from seetickets and have not had them cancelled - and you go to http://www.seetickets.com/see/content_tracker.asp - does it tell you what block/seat number there?

Can only answer your seconds question I'm afraid.

It does not show which seats you are yet, as I stated earlier when I called them they said that it would become available nearer the event and they would contact people. Doubt that they will contact, but thats what I was told over the phone at about 20:00 today.

I ordered from seetickets at 0930 or so yesterday and received confirmation email from them at 13:00. Money was then taken later that afternoon.

Hopefully we will get our two (for glasgow), sorry to those of you who have had your orders cancelled, that stinks.

we had our tickets cancelled last year by seetickets for the killers,we phoned up and complained basically all the tickets are on ebay makes you so mad,we had call next day saying they were working with ebay and would we like 2 which they had cancelled from ebay sellers
