No, at CB we get Christmas, two days Easter, Whitsun week, Summer and a floating week which you can book for when you want.

The summer shut down varies in length depending on how Christmas fall with the weekend etc (last year was 2 weeks 3 days), and at CB you don't get bank holidays unless they fall in a shutdown.

This years CB holidays are,

Fri 1st Jan
Fri 26th, Mon 28th March (Good Friday and Easter Monday)
Mon 30th May - Fri 3rd June (Whitsun Week)
Mon 25th July - Fri 12 Aug (Summer)
Mon 26th - Fri 30th December (Christmas)
plus your floating week.

Oh is it ? God knows . Start date is the 8th and have to go in on 28th to take ID photos ect .

They haven't give us any info apart from that so far !!

They have got interviews ongoing as i had mine last week. No response as of yet as to whether i passed or not. Had a few of ny customers who work at jlr saying they are recruiting at castle brom. Asking if they can forward names on etc to fast track people.

Fingers crossed my name gets mentioned lol

We (employees) were told just before shutdown that if we know anyone waiting to hear from manpower, to pass their details to manpower office and we can have them fast-tracked..

Not sure.. i would say its better to drop into the manpower office and give them the details of the person you want fast tracked..

Hi Mate, just was wondering when do you start your powertrain training? I've been waiting for a start date since early December so getting abit frustrated at the wait, be grateful for a response with when you start.
