Hi,
Can anyone tell me if you fail the manpower online test for JLR how long do you have to wait before you can do the test again.
Many thanks in advance. Paddyjc
Howaya Paddy, its 3 months from the day of your last refusal email.
I failed first time round. I did the online assessment again on the day i failed, but i never completed the 3rd section of the test (only did section 1+2)
Exactly 3 months later manpower sent me an email to say that i had an incomplete assessment in the system and gave me 7 days to complete it if i was still interested.
Good luck.0 -
Can any new starters at Castle brom or Solihull shed any light on the contracts being offered at the moment.
I'm aware that it changed from 1 year with agency to 5 years since november 2014.
Now i'm hearing that recent manpower starters are being started on 60% pay instead of 70%, and are being offered 8 month contracts with no pera training.
Asking coz im suggesting these jobs to friends and dont want to misslead.0 -
Sab, did it all in December just struggling to comprehend why it's taking so long, could you share the info you got contacted on to confirm your start date, would be much appreciated.
Has anyone else been waiting on a start date for Wolverhampton EMC since December?0 -
I was manpower I think not sure0

Hi met, I started in early July this year I've started on 70% and it's no contract for 12 months but I can be offers one at anytime after the 12months but it's can be up to five years. I had Pera and they have said they will have 100 new starters a week for CB between now and November. Not heard about ppl being on 60% at all. However I know there stopping building a car at Solihull and the one to replace it has been pushed back so there is rumours about things changing like for a couple of months. But no1 being laid off. I waited 3 months for start dat and talking to people that's not that long lol, felt it. also0

The car that Solihull are stopping building is the XE, which is moving to Castle Brom.
CB are slowly ramping up production of the XE and are going onto 2 shifts around Nov, and 3 shifts Feb next year for full production.
Wouldn't worry too much about Solihull as the F-Pace is the same platform so uses the same facilities and they can't build enough of them to meet demand.0 -
Hi
Lets say i know someone who works at either Solihull or CB and they are Manpower, if they have been there say 9months and they want to leave, will they still get the RHA that has been saved? Or do you lose that if sacked or leave?
Thanks0 -
I think if you leave you get your RHA upto the leave date. Not 100% though.
If you sacked you will not get it.0 -
Does anyone have the number for Manpower Castlebromwich?0
-
I don't know the Castle Bromwich number but manpower Solihull are closely linked to them I believe and their number is 01217004206. I hope you don't have to speak to a girl called Amy though. I spoke to her recently because I'm waiting for a start date and she was very rude and unhelpful
Hope that helps you.0
