Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.

One thing i have to add, and im sorry if im stepping on anybodys' toes. But seeing as we are all here to better our lives and make a living. i don't think it is right for anybody to capitolise on the process. Don't pay anybody for anything regarding this process. all the information is on here! I know iv just been on the assesment yesterday! and as more people go on the assesment more info comes out of it.

For someone to charge for this information is wrong in my opinion. Especialy as seeing the people who are applying (like myself) are hard up as we don't have jobs. Stop me if im wrong.

I just think it's wrong to try an capitalize on peoples hopes. £20 for information that is freely available. I had my assesment today and wil help out anybody whos genuine. ALL the major information is on here! You won't get kicked off, there are many people who have the same opinion, it's funny he should try and make money on MONEYSAVINGEXEPERT, you'd think the name was in the title. If anybody has any questions, it's best to ask .
  • Hi Bigden,

Have been following this thread for a while now. Received an email from Manpower yesterday stating that I have now all stages of the recruitment process, but I have to wait until they will get in touch with me as they are reviewing my overall performance.

As I noticed in one of your previous posts you experienced the same thing, was just wondering how long your were waiting in between each stage and are you aware of any mistakes you made (e.g. during manual assesment).

    Thanks

  • This thread seems to have gone a bit ott in my opinion. when it was has halewood related there was nowhere near the amount of information posted which is as it should be, the amount of detail posted since basically makes a mockery of the manual assessment, the online test and the interview. no point pointing the finger at one guy charging 20 quid when numerous others have at the very least disadvantaged people who haven't read this thread. just my thoughts and am aware others will disagree.

I can see your point. But ultimately it is the person taking the test who has to do the job. we are not giving answers away. myself and Bigden have categoricaly said we will not give out any answers to any questions. I don't see the problem with giving advice on how to best perform the task. We are not doing it for them. You tell me what is worse, giving away information and guidance for free to everyone, or charging £20 a pop. It's disgusting. I will not give any answers, nor will i post pictures of any of the equipment provided. I would understand people being upset if this was a secret forum, where only select people could see and join, but it's not. it is publicly available information for anybody who wishes to use it.

What is worse? They're the same in my eyes. Detailed instructions on bolts etc, youtube of the test, at the end of the day, unless you have got the position you are potentially messing it up for yourself. Not give out any answers? Do you honestly believe that? Have another read through mate.
