How can you have an unspent conviction from 24 years ago? I thought all convictions are spent after 5/6 years.
Unspent Convictions
If a person has been convicted of an offence for which a sentence of more than 30 months was imposed (regardless of how much time they actually spent in prison) their conviction can never be spent. As it remains an unspent conviction, this person must always disclose their conviction when asked about their criminal record.
Don't know how accurate that is as some I've read say 48 months.0 -
Yipppeee...Well its taken since May but my hubbie starts on Tuesday in Halewood as a Driver...He's delighted.
Driving wasn't what he was expecting but does anyone know what this entails...Is this a good placement???
They have said 2 weeks training & 3 month contract but think the 3 month contract is standard with Manpower.
Any advice greatly appreciated.0 -

Hi I have passed my manual assessment and have been called in for a formal interview, I was wondering what the next step is I know I will called for a drug screening and would like to know the process if anyone has got to that stage.
How does the drug screening work? I was told you have to urinate while being watched... Does anybody stand behind you or are you in the cubicle on your own
Thank you.0 -
