Has anyone made any mistakes on manual assessment and went through?
In stress I skipped the part where after connecting 2 cables on the back of the car you had to go out and get in from the another side and check connection and then take magnets off. I did it all together when I get to the back at first time. Very disappointed about it 😠 do you think if rest of the assessment went ok I got any chance?0 -

If it's unspent then it will come up on the CRB. If you don't tell them and it comes up on the criminal check then your chances of getting the job will be 0 as you will have lied about it, whereas being honest and telling them beforehand may potentially work in your favour.WC_Student wrote: »Has anyone made any mistakes on manual assessment and went through?

My OH said he made a couple of small mistakes when he did it, can't remember what he said they were now. But he has an interview tomorrow so making a mistake doesn't necessarily mean you've failed completely. I think it depends on how big the mistake is and how you deal with it.0 -
My partner had his interview today, he said it went pretty well and gave confident answers to all the questions, passed the drug test too which is obviously a good thing. So fingers crossed he gets some good news soon.
I'm worried that he may have dropped a clanger though, he told me they asked him how often he'd been late. He said he'd been late about 7(!!!) times in the last 2 years. This has really worried me, I feel like he may have blown it as it shows poor time keeping. Am I over reacting? Will his answer really affect his chances? I'm so proud of him for getting this far, I'd hate for him to lose out over a stupid answer to one question. He even said himself he doesn't know why he said 7, he doesn't even know if that's an accurate number *face palm*0 -

Hi Ruby.. Yeah, i would declare it in the interview. As far as i know they cant discriminate against criminal records anymore, i would take the advise offered by Twister. Although i'm sure you might have answered a question somewhere already about previous convictions, was there a question before the online assessment bout it? cant remember!!
Declare it and Best of luck mate.0 -

Scratch that, got an email saying he didn't get it. Disappointed doesn't cover it.
Oh well, guess he can try again in a couple of months. If they're still recruiting by then.0 -
i have the manual assessment coming up and was wondering if any1 could help give me an idea to the questionnaire afterwards, on things that you should improve, what answers would be ideal is it mainly to do with health and safety related or just general questions as the last time i could not think of any.0
