It's Solhull I'm starting at, had my interview mid July so I've been waiting around 7 weeks.

I am starting on 2nd September to. So happy. Long wait since may. But really happy now.

Finally after 9 long weeks had a phone call this morning and got told i am starting this monday in the body shop at halewood. But could be finished after 8 weeks but unlikely to happen got me a bit worried tho but ill just go for it and hopefully get kept on. Good luck to everyone waiting on start dates.

I got told 8 week contract too mate with opportunities so hopefully they say that to everyone and if we work hard then will get kept on! Fingers crossed hey

i just got told could be off for 2-3 weeks me but suppose if you work hard and dont give them a reason to get rid of you am sure things will be fine

suppose we will find out more on monday

First I've heard of an 8 wk contract! was told there was a 2-3 week shut down in Sep without pay which is doable. I know it's agency work but that's a bit worrying !

I had interview on the 21st july. and a call with a start date on the 28th.

Ya shud b ok. I almost had a job on quality control where ya test the cars as they come off the production line but turned out i was too young gutted apparently its a job everyone wants but tbh ill b happy jus to keep my job after the 8 weeks
