I was told the exact same mate but I have spoken to a few people who work there who have heard nothing about those in August being on short term contracts, all they keep saying is keep your head down, don't be late don't turn down overtime.
However it is the case that with manpower we can get laid off at anytime but I cant see them doing that with the amount of cars they are pumping off the lines. I was also a bit uneasy when they told me we could get laid off for 2-3 weeks but she also said to me they have said this before and it hasn't happened.
Where did they say you would be working? It's a risk taking this job but if you don't take a risk in life you don't get nowhere
Manpower tell pretty much everyone who starts that they may be off for short periods. With us they said we would probably be off for up to five weeks.around the summer shutdown Personally I think it is a test to see how flexible you are and how you react.
There were just under 60 of us who started a couple of months ago and no one has been laid off.0 -

LOL the mis spelt words were professional, draft and envelope, but these tests don't matter much that's what the guy said manpower and JLR don't see the results they only designed so they know how much support each individual needs, unless he blagged it to me
Got the other two but how the hell did I miss draft, like I said putting it down to tiredness lol0 -
