Whooooo hoooo!!!! Just received a phone call at 18:30 from a mobile number telling me I start my training on 28th July at Solihull, the man also said I have my pre assessment on the 23rd July and will be working the 3 shift pattern :D. Had my interview in the 25th June and only waited 2 weeks for a call I must be I be one of the lucky ones :rotfl:

PS:- is there anybody else starting on that date I would be travelling from hodge hill/bromford area of birmingham. Thank you for the all the support on this forum.

Well done, by the sound of it you will be in trim and final 1. Good luck with that and be prepared to sweat and bleed! You may find doing the most simpliest thing after work difficult lol!

The 2 weeks Pera training will be the easiest you will ever have believe me.

I'm not sure if the car park is open during the 2 week shutdown due to the multi storeys etc. however I'm sure they will tell you where to park, just make sure you don't park on the roads around the site you will regret it and you will loose your job over it!

Steel toe caps but no metal eyelets etc.

Trim and final is where all the parts come together and you actually build the cars.

Thank you all for replying, does anyone know a good retailer to get some shoes from, I seen some on eBay for about £23 steel toe cap trainers they look nice and comfortable would they be ok or they have to be boots/shoes.
