    Hello,

My boyfriend has been accepted for the interview and has been but theyve put it on hold due to him considering whether to take the position or not.
He works full time atm and Jlr have told him it will be 4 weeks employment then it depends what happens after.

He doesnt know whether to take the gamble or just leave it..

If his been to the interview did he receive a email confirming he has passed all stages? How did they tell let him know it was a 4 week employment, what site was he applying for

My husband has had this email today:

Thank you for your application to positions at Jaguar Land Rover, and thank you for your patience in awaiting feedback. Unfortunately due to the overwhelming high level of response received we will not be progressing your application further on this occasion.

We wish you the best of luck for your future.

    Kind regards

    Manpower@ Jaguar Land Rover

Then 1 hour later has a phone call for manual assessment at Wolverhampton very very strange. Are the wages the same at Wolverhampton engine plant.
  • Helloo again,

He went for the interview and they didnt want to push the interview any further due to him not knowing whether he wanted to take the risk or stick to his job. So they gave him a number to call when hes decided.

Hes decided to take it and rang them back, just awaiting an appointment for another interview.

They said its only 4 weeks employment and then depending on who gets through and who doesnt.

    Big risk!

    What site was that for?
  • This is for Manpower, hes gone through manpower and this is what they've told him. He passed the online tests, the manual assessment then went for the interview and this is what they told him.

That's the way it rolls in here mate!

As long as you don't have days off and do as your told you will have a job for life. If you don't wanna take the risk or are unsure then don't let's face it there's 100's of people that want each individual spot available! Take the chance with both hands if you have the balls ;)
