Just a heads up as i have stated in previous posts manpower will not have any start dates until JLR management tell them what they need at castle brom there is the new press shop ut it is far from finished and that will be a large intake of people and after the summer shut down there is a change in volume so another intake not really sure how many but it will be across the board BIW trim and final paint shop ect ect my guessing is either during the shut down or shortly after is when they will start to contact people

Got the same call myself today mate! anyone know if the the bodyshops more or less secure than other areas of the plant? Currently working for more but need a change.

It's all the same mate if I'm honest, if they need to cut back it goes on service more than anything I'm afraid.

I wouldn't give up a perm job for more money mate as you won't like what you walk into it !

Yes I do , the majority will be taken on around November to allow the movement to 2/3 shifts.

Hello,

My boyfriend has been accepted for the interview and has been but theyve put it on hold due to him considering whether to take the position or not.
He works full time atm and Jlr have told him it will be 4 weeks employment then it depends what happens after.

He doesnt know whether to take the gamble or just leave it..
