  • I heard today that I have gotten through to the manual assessment, which is good news.

I heard they ask you if you prefer to work at a specific plant...I'm not sure if this is true. My options are Solihull or Castle Bromwich. Does anyone know what the differences are currently between working at these two plants, other than the fact you'd be producing a different car. Are there any differences in shift times, pay, holiday and job pressure (I have heard Solihull requires you to work faster?).

I hope someone can help please?

Well done and good luck to everyone starting on 1st July also :D

The rates of pay are based on service and are split into percentages 70% - 100% and are the same across all the sites there are differences in pay structure at castle brom you get a clocking in bonus at solihull you earn holidays days im not sure if that includes manpower staff castle brom clock in bonus does include manpower holidays are the same there is overtime at both sites both are high pressure but jaguar is a bit more relaxed due to the volume not being as high as land rover they will ask if were you prefer to work but basically they will put you where you are needed

  • Hi completed my manual assessment and got a call with an interview just 3 days later.
  • I've just passed all stages now, just waiting for a start date. I just wondered if there are many girls working for Jaguar Land Rover on here? How're you finding the work so far?

Also has anyone on here started working for the Caslte Brom plant...if so do new starters get put on the 3 shift pattern? If not is it just days? Is there potential to get a higher hourly rate if you do shifts there, like at Solihull? Thanks!

Hi and congrats on your placement, can I ask after the interview how long did you get the email to say you've passed all stages, I just did my interview this morning so fingers crossed I'll get the good news.

    Thank you :)
I think it was 2 days after, so not too long to wait, hopefully you'll hear back before the weekend! I hope it went well and good luck! :)
