Weekly pay 1 week in hand so your first pay will be on 11th July , but bare in mind you won't get paid for shutdown as you havnt been there long enough. Just a heads up. On days it's £327 a week on shift it's £381.

Word of advice sign up for the union !

What's the hourly rate for days and shifts?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
For most jobs you just wear trainers, if you get put somewhere where you need steel toe caps, boots are provided. But most new starters will just be in your own trainers.

Hello everyone I new to this forum and I would like to say what a great forum this is keep up the good work. What I like to ask is I got a interview with manpower at the castle vale skills centre on Wednesday 25th June @ 08:30, form the people who have done the interview already can you tell me what to except in terms of questions asked and after how long did you get the call to start work.

PS:- sorry if this has been asked numerous times but any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance and good luck to every one (including me) :)

I went for my interview on 25th april at castle vale and didnt get a call for start date til 19th june so nearly two months of waiting and calling manpower for updates, worth the wait in the end though as I got the good news to start,

The questions they asked was simple to be honest just general team work, ethnic colleagues ,situations in past and repetitive work.

Thanks for replying mate, can I ask what you answered about the repetitive work question if you don't mine please.
  • I was just wondering if anybody knows how long it takes to find out if you have passed the initial online application and tests? Do you get a fail email straight away if you don't pass?
I received an email telling me they would be in touch, but have heard nothing just yet. I only completed it last week. Hopefully someone has a rough idea of how long I can expect to be waiting please? :)
    Thanks!
