I've just passed all stages now, just waiting for a start date. I just wondered if there are many girls working for Jaguar Land Rover on here? How're you finding the work so far?
Also has anyone on here started working for the Caslte Brom plant...if so do new starters get put on the 3 shift pattern? If not is it just days? Is there potential to get a higher hourly rate if you do shifts there, like at Solihull? Thanks!
Shifts depends on where you will be working most of the site are on shifts and yes you do get paid shift allowance and there are a lot of girls/women lol that work at JLR lots of operators and group leaders castle brom is a more relaxed pace than land rover but the work is still very involved so brace yourself for a bit of a struggle for a week or to until you are comfortable with the job and the speed you will be working at0 -

Don't wear anything with metal on eg zips you will get sent home mate.
If you have work trousers they are best to wear along with a plain t shirt, some PL's can be really arsey about it0 -

Hi all, I had my final interview, recueved the email today saying you haven't been successful....I don't get it, the interview was bogus, it was a competency based interview, give examples of a time you did this n that...Wich I answered quite well and showed my willingness to go the extra mile, showed Gud problem solving skills etc....I dont get it...after so much time and effort put in the long waits and going thru all the different stages I get declined at the end.... To be honest every one can do the job for God sakes....as long as your compitent I dnt see why they would just Willy nilly reject someone....
Any ideas to what to do next or should I just leave it0
