They have stopped further recruitment on their website as they have enough candidates. The last batch of people in this set have been taken on for next week. Im sure more recruitment will arise probably with the speculation of August.

3000 jobs at solihull? you sure about that mate.

I have heard there are jobs to come at jaguar land rover new engine plant in Wolverhampton somewhere around 2015.

Would they be any further recruitment for new applicants at castle bromwich/solihull?

I have heard about august recruitment but when i asked manpower they said we don't know anything about further recruitment just yet.

I haven't heard anything regarding jobs, but JLR seem to be buying as much land as they can around the Castle Bromwich plant. They have just bought the dunlop tyre plant. Jobs will be coming, it's just a matter of when.

Hi all... Here's an update!
I had a call from Manpower this morning.. I start work at Solihull on 31st July! WooHoo
So there are still jobs available.

As said in an earlier post there will be another 3000 jobs coming up at Solihull there is a new line being built and more jobs at castle brom are coming up to its hard to hang in there but that is all you can do just make sure you keep in contact with manpower

Just signed up here to say they are still taking on as I had a phone call saying I start on 15th July, my online application was early January so 7 months of waiting so don't be disheartened.

Would like to hear from anyone else starting on that day, especially if they have received an email regarding it. Also any input from people who work in painting/finishing would be nice.

Are there going to be interviews or are they just calling up people who passed the interview stage?

they called me up asked me if I was still interested and offered me that start date.

Has anyone been given a start date of 31st July? It's the first day of the shut down.
